Do you ever get a chance to do a thorough cleaning, or do you work in stuff like that on a can-do basis? I've been flipping tables on a similar schedule the past few months and am concerned about cleanliness. Like, I'll clean and sterilize each table after it's empty, vacuum periodically, and always mop up little floor spills, but I never really get the chance to bleach the room out top to bottom. Seems to be working out OK so far, but I really am paranoid about the this.

I am in the exact same boat as you. Because I scrubbed the room clean before I set up everything I think I should be okay as long as I keep everything else cleaned on schedule (rezies each week, tables after each crop, walls after each crop.

Also, you've mentioned emptying three 40-gallon reservoirs on a regular basis. How do you do it? Is there a drain in your room? I have to manually tote the water out of my room, and, well--it's good but unwanted exercise!

I run a 15-20ft 1/2" tube from each rezies pump that leads to the bathroom and run that stuff down the drain. With a 396 pump the tanks are done in 10-15 mins. The thing that sucks is I don't get all the water out of each rez.... about 7 gallons remains each time. So I do my excercise for the week - my powerlifting - I'll lift up each rez and tilt/dump it into a 5g bucket that I then tote to the bath room

I had a terrible bout with PM last year. I failed to deal with it the instant I saw it ("I'll get to it tomorrow" is a bad idea in this game) and the shit quickly decimated my crop. Turned out I was actively sucking the spores in through my air-cooled lights. Seriously, there were DRIFTS of the stuff in the air ducts. I used a sulfur burner, but it couldn't conquer the millions of spores in the environment. (I've also read those are best used as preventative measures.) It's not a problem now--I bleached the bejesus out of the room and closed up the holes I'd been sucking the PM in through. I keep a dehumidifier running 24/7 and haven't seen any of the dreaded white stuff since.....herpes of marijuana indeed. Shit was a very expensive nightmare, but it can be conquered.

you know I have been burning the sulpher pretty much every other day 3hrs a pop using 8teaspoons per cup and I still haven't rid the PM yet. That is giving me something to think about... I am maybe gonna re-do how my exhaust is set up before I hit the plants with Zone+Penetrator to make sure I am not sucing anything in thru from the outside. I have a big ass morning glory right in front of the light intake. mother fucker....


heya pufpuf glad you are likin that bubba cuz. I am pretty stoked on it too. BUT THE SDxSB IS POOPIER I THINK. I have 18 2g Bubbas (I think they are all Bubba... might be a sdxsb or 2 in there we'll see about week 6) + 2 2gMTF middle week 3 right now, and I have just taken 18 cuts of the SDxSB to run for the next next crop (+ 6 Blackberry Bubbas). I have to save some of that crop of Bubba to compare it too. Thats gonna be tough.

BTW the garberville isn't my fave smoke. maybe its cause it could have gone another 5-10 days.... i don't know. i no likey. chop chop. bye bye.

Aloha and happy new year everyone.

2009 is bringing me lots of cool and exciting things.... like a roster full of elite/clone onlys & permission to expand my op 600w+3x3.
One thing this is going to cost me is time.... I will be short on time and truly feel there is not much else I contribute to anyone in the form of this here grow diary.
