back story (for actual question skip to next paragraph):
on about day 4 of my cure and i needed to go to my parents house for a week... i brought my bud with me so i could continue to burp the jars... last time i cured here (i stayed for a whole month) i would just do it in my room but every once in a while my mom (who has the schnoz of a German Sheppard *shudder*) would complain to me that it smelled like weed in the house... they know i smoke, and i have a volcano so they know i do it in the house... but it doesnt smell strong
this time i decided to do my cure outside... im in chicago right now and there is a few inches of snow on the ground and the temp is -2F, with humidity at 67%
are these ok conditions for curing? i always thought cold air was dryer and was very surprised to find out that the humidity was that high... when i brought the jars in (i capped them inside, but as quick as i could... want to spend as little time as possible outside) a layer of condensation formed on the outside of the jars that i was able to wipe off and did not see any indications of moisture on the insides... do yall think its better to continue my outside cold cure or do it inside but sneakily? i put a digital thermometer inside a half full jar and it is currently reading 42F @ 31% about 25min after capping it and sitting in a 65F house... i will report back with a updated reading in the morning
