Need advice [chronic pain]

I am a 25 yr old male who has been in severe pain for a while. I have inflammation and pain in my brain heart and lungs, i've had major surgery on my sternum and ribcage when I was 16 and i smoked pot almost daily(though Ive used a vaporizer and cut back on my usage and smoking CANNOT be the reason). I don't smoke cigs at all.
Now the problem is i've been to MANY different doctors trying to get relief and find a cure but it seems they dont hold my best interests at heart or care much about the pain that I am constantly in. I have been to countless doctors so many times and they have ran all sorts of test and cannot find out what's wrong. I've tried many different medications that were suppose to cure the problem but never did. I've reminded them time and time again they are working for me.. When I went the the specialist at first when I was given some anti-inflammatories that made my stomach bleed I decided to go to another doctor who seemed as if he didnt even care and prescribed the exact same thing after I told him it didnt help. I have been tested from head to toe, many chest x-rays, many different doctors, everything, yet nobody has been able to pinpoint a specific cause aside from the skeletal surgery and pleurisy. I don't think it's from the surgery. I've seen a specialist who prescribed me physical therapy which didn't help one bit.... and a pain management doctor who gave me cortosteroid/anesthetic injections in my chest and sent me home with tramadol which did nothing but give me panic attacks. I've been practicing alternative medicine and meditation because medical doctors sometimes act as if they don't have an ounce of compassion.
And I know it's very difficult to find the right doctor. But I have been to so many of them and I can't it afford to go all the time because I don' have insurance anymore.
My quality of life is way down, I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed life it's so bad. The sharp, stinging pains are constant and a huge distraction. I've had to drop out of several of my college classes because of my inability to focus because of the intense pain. I haven't been able to support myself or work. I cannot function, im suffering and I need something to alleviate the symptoms and cure the problem. And so far Cannabis and some opiates are the only decent pain relievers(they definately help me to were I can function normally and live life without pain) and i've tried a wide range of medicines.
Because I will tell you there is no way I could make it through this life without ganj it is a godsend for my pain.
And I know an individual shouldn't need a drug to make life worth living but the question that is staring me in the face is do I continue in this state of acute pain and misery and wither the rest of my life away and die or take scheduled doses of cannabis.
I'm looking for a cure rather than just something to mask the symptoms but I need some relief. The doctors just don't seem to care. Let me clarify that this is not asking for how to get drugs or marijuana, I just want to fix the root of the issue, so the pain stops.
I am at my wits end right now and am in so much pain every minute of my life is living hell. I've tried swimming, stretching, tai chi, acupuncture and massaging that area. The only things that help are massage, heat and CANNABIS. I've been trying to excercise, taking goldseal/cayenne/capsicum supplements daily. Eating whole grains, fruits and veggies and drinking lots of water.
I would probably say eating marijuana is the only safe pain medicine to use for me because of my pleurisy. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help me to find out how to get me some meds because I am having problems with that.I am making an honest effort to help himself by talking with my doctors and researching for solutions to the problem on the web. We all know that drugs can be very helpful and it is especially true in my case. That being said, thanks in advance for any advices that you can give and I will take advantage of any good oppurtunities that come my way.

Peace

I dont get your question... are you in a med state? If so look at the Norml link in my signature, they got info on doctors, if in california you could look up medi-cann, type it on google or somethin, call them up and set yourself up an apointment to see them. If your not in a med state you should maybe wait until obama gets in office and see if shit CHANGES, and if not move to a med state... Hope you find what your lookin for man, keep on pushin.

I feel your pain. I suffer from a couple of compressed discs from time in service. I smoke mostly for the pleasure of it, but I do notice that it reduces my lower back pain... just enough so it doesn't bother me.

Learn to grow my friend, it's the only sure-fire way to get medicinal quality product these days. You can't count on most people, let alone the gov't to leave us alone. Do what you have to. Did you know that the poppy seeds you buy from the store are of the opium variety and they will germinate? Take heed to hide them, LEO knows what the opium producers look like.

Sorry to hear of your pain hopefully you can keep gettin the painpills that do seem to help you but beyond that i would try to do more of what works more meditation ,more heat n more weed. Grow your own if u can do so safely, n seeing as this is so important find a way to make it work. Sometimes if not most of the time the system fucks folks over so if weed helps then screw the assholes tryin to keep you down grow your own n take care of yourself...o ya maybe try a topical pot rub if u havent yet may well work for u

I'm trying to move out right now so I can setup an indoor grow. I just don't have the money for the quality med seed or grow equipment yet. Is it safe to grow inside an apt. complex? I am saving my money to move to oregon or california so I can grow legally. Do you guys know what city in california or oregon I should move to? It's my goal and im saving up all my money so I can move.

I am not in a med state but my goal is to move to california so I can get a medical liscense. But that will be a few years before I get enough money to move there. In the mean time, I have to figure out a way to setup a small mini grow for personal use.

check out the micro section in the growers forum, lots of good ideas there. My advice would be whatever you do invest in a carbon filter, smell is #1 reason a lot of people get caught up.

One of the cannabanoids in cannabis is an anti-inflamatory so not only does it work when you smoke it you can build up a support level of it. I notice after smoking for a couple days not only does my inflammation of RA subside, it subsides for a few days after i put down the smoke. Same with my wife's migranes. I don't have a link but there is that cannabis oil cure, you might try that. I take it you pretty much keep a maintence level of THC daily?

GET MO, yea but i'm not in a position to grow right now :(

Chiefsmokingbud, I believe it's one of the CBD that has the anti-inflammatory properties. I've noticed my inflammation subside to after smoking. I don't keep a maintentence level of THC anymore as I have no way to obtain any. I am moving soon to a medical state. I just don't know where I should go?

Thanks
