I Took my 9 year old Akita Nikko for his daily walk a couple of days ago...He was fine...The next day he starts vomiting,and his stomach is bulging...later in the day..he collapsed and could not get back up...he then urinated all over
the floor...I rushed him to the Emergency clinic,where the vets discovered
that his liver was full of tumors and it had actually burst....There was nothing
I could do except cry...He lost his vision when he was 3 to a northern breed
disease called VKH...I took special care of him and walked him every night...
I feel like i am having a major break-down here....I am 45 years old...I have been through alot of shit...I am battle tested....I keep telling myself to be a
man,but I can't stop crying...This is fucking killing me...I have witnessed alot
of death....this one is tough...That dog was my BEST FRIEND...I work out of my house...i was with him all-day every day......REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND...

that really sux buddy . I love my dogs and it really sucks that they dont last longer then they do . Take care of yourself and after some time has passed maybe you can visit the shelter and take in a new dog that needs a break. Again sorry for your loss.
