Does the stalk of the crystal have any nutritional value???

errrrr.... What the hell is the crystal stalk (you know, the trunk, the stem before the mushroom head) made of and does it have any psycho/physical active traits? wut IZ it?? Reason I ask cuz I been notice'n some strains got some real long and curly crystal stalks coverin um, and I wonder how smokin all that stalk effects ya, and what the hell it is?!?!

there's no psychoactive properties in the stalk, the magic only happens in the trichome head, where the thin wax like membrane (sp?) is located, the good stuff

Without the stalk, the gland head would have to just float there in space. The stalk conects the gland head to the vegative mater of the plant and thereby allows the gland head to remain in place without the use of any antigravity devices.
