in this hobby u don't always get what u pay for, and most expensive aint always best. ohterwise, we would all just suck it up and buy sensis seedbank. search their reviews, and they have successes and complaints like everyone else.

the website dope-seeds.com. his own label g13-haze is an amazing plant, regardless of price, and has shamed some very expensive pedigree, side by side. seedsman has better cheap seeds than nirvana in my jungle.

good news, ive had better germ rates w cheapos. it could be freshness due to high volume?

My vote is for KC Brains gear. Ive grown his stuff for 8 yrs and have never been disapointed. He has a number of very high quality strains and is probably at the top of the pile for low cost, high quality outdoor strains. Ive grown KC33, Brain Damage, Mango, Mindbender and TNR. All were very good quality, potent plants.

Nirvana has a number of very good strains. Aurora Indica, below, is killer for 20$.

if your looking for a connoisseur sativadom high, look out for legends johnny blaze, which is nevilles haze x djs sativa leaning blueberry stud. flowering time 9-14 wk, make some f2's and go pheno popping, that's what ima doing..!

I'm a mod fan, you can still get his seeds on the weekend specials. I have many, but , have only tried godberry, & burmese dream. That godberry was very good { i think }.

i would vote mandala as well. satori, mandala1, hashberry. Nirvanas PPP was fire too. There are alot of reasonably priced strains out there. But, I always figured, make the initial investment on a strain that you really want and cloner the hell out of her. I have been too broke to make any purchases lately but I bit the bullet and bought F13, Bluebonic, and True blueberry last year, and now i am glad i did. It seems like alot of money for beans at first but they pay for themselves first crop.

My .02; Save up and buy the ones you really want. Then, your search will be over and you can puff good herb while thanking yourself for spending the dough.

When in doubt, Mandala wont disappoint.

I'll second the Nirvana Jock Horror recommendation..

Excellent smoke, definitely has the Herer magic. If I only had 25-30 bucks, that would be it for sure.

Somewhat different from herer, i think more of a creeper. Have to give it a try sometimes, good yielder but maybe needs some selection too. More psychedelic than herer, i crossed it to lowryder and grew the cross a couple of times, psychedelic weed, didn't really wanna communicate with anyone after smoking it. F2's gave one jack herer autoflower pheno with the biggest cola i've had just like the big yielding jacks. Got bored of it though. Wouldn't choose jock horror if I was on a budget.

Nirvana's aurora indica is good choice for couchlock indica but nothing special.

I can't reccommend Mandala Kalichakra, as my 2 different females both shot nanners at the end of flower. I LOVE MrNice Shit. It is an indy dom Skunk, with a strong balanced head/body high. It was my best performer outdoors, and is my fastest finisher inside. Dried buds are piney, skunky, spicey. ~$3/seed.

Consider MrNice. 15+++ beans per pack, and in these trying uncertain times, it's nice to know that the breeder is honest with the genetics, and stands behind the product - even if we fukk it up. I have yet to find a poor MrNice female. I also liked the Spice and G/sk which are a lil more expensive, but ~$4/seed

Right on, well said. My take on the high is a little different and perhaps more positive, but that is a personal thing of course. What you said about "some selection" is especially true, and I think that is the case with most Nirvana strains.. You trade off some consistency with Nirvana for value; fortunately in my experience there is usually a special plant in each pack.

It sounds like you enjoy a more indica buzz and got all sativa-pheno plants unfortunately. Perhaps they could have gone a little longer as well, because out of 4 Jock Horror females, even the sativa-leaning ones (3/4) still had a nice "all-around" element to the high, which is one of the things I like about Herer that I thought was preserved in the Jock Horror.

Anyways, I do stand by my recommendation less on the basis of consistency than the fact that most everyone loves Herer, and Herer-heads who I dropped the Jock Horror on agreed it was still a great smoke. Same for a medical user who has a specific preference for Herer. It is also an expensive strain to acquire from Sensi, 21 dollars vs. 137, so that seriously adds to the "value" element in my mind.

From what I've seen in the vigor department, my MOD, Mandala and AnnaC
strains are wonderful. They were about $20 buck a pack, 100% germ rate, and
now they are all at war with each other competing for space under the lights. I
think I'll have some nice specimens soon...

They were all relatively cheap, yet outperformed more expensive beans.

CH9 Seeds: they're cheap, they produce powerful bud, and they're feminized. You can get 10 femmed seeds for around $50. If you go through their personal page, you can get 15+ freebies (minimum 3, usually more) for around $70.

I've grown their Jack (Jack Herer x (ERSBxHashplantXMazarishariff)) and it yielded a few nice phenotypes with most being very nice sativa highs and yield 400g+ in a square meter.

i think nirvana blows! (at least the white widow, ice and hindu kush i got from theM) and i thought mandala went out of business or isn't selling anymore??? I loved all my seeds I bought from mandala, hash-berry was the best ever!!!!!!!! Some seed companies charge over 100 per pack and weren't as ood as the hash-berry i had from mandala. I wish i could still get more seeds from them. Right now I have speed queen from mandala and I'm trying to keep it cloned and a mother around as long as possible since i cant find more mandala seeds. anyone know where i can find hash-berry still?

I can personally attest to Nirvana Northern Lights being some great stuff. I've been told time and again that Nirvana Aurora Indica and Ice are also winners.

As others have mentioned, Mandala is really at the top of the game as far as sick genetics and great value goes. $30 (from the Mandala shop), will get you a pack plus shipping to any corner of the globe. Can't beat it.

Mandala #1 looks to be an ideal strain. It has three phenotypes: a sativa, an indica/sativa mix, and a dark purple indica pheno. Out of one pack someone is sure to find a mother that meets with their needs.

High priced genetics are good or great for the most part, but you can generally find something just as good or better in a cheap pack. Expensive strains are mostly hype -- this coming from someone with the experience to know.
