2 Questions , Promix & wick sys ? & Molasses in 30 Gal ?

I don't see it being an issue, just a bug attractant if you leave it uncovered is all lol.
So my Question is i have Promix which is soil less can i add a wick system or circulating water system, Or will this be too much water for the promix and drown the roots ?
I'll assume you have a good drainage on your promix, perlite mixed in etc.If that is the case the wick system should not be a problem as the roots will do just as the rope and wick up what they need.
And as for your wilting, it happens to us all sometimes, just remember it is a weed it will grow despite you xD. Sounds like you are having loads of fun though keep it up and stay safe.

first let me say i'm a nebbie but wanted to offer my 2 cents..lol. I've read here (Burnone's post) that if u make to much tea and have to throw some away just make less i take it that the tea WILL go bad. the wick sys.sound's good and the circulating sys.i believe would be to much water (sense it takes three day's before they need watered) .Anyway good luck keep in touch .

nah man ur right on but since he said he is only gonna keep it in the drum 2 weeks, he should be fine, it didnt seem he was gonna store it there. From what I read he was going to dump it in 2-3 weeks once plants were done.
Maybe I read the post wrong I am high it is entirely possible lol.

One thing about the molasses. Once you mix that in, it will begin to ferment in a few days and go bad. That's probably why it stunk so bad. I'd recommend just giving them molasses when you're feeding them by hand and to leave it out of your wick system.

Hey Centrum -
I use a wick system with great results - wick and coco.
The only thing to remember with a wick system is:
you will have to flush your plants good at least every month to get rid of the salt build up.
I flushed one plant and the other I did not flush. The flushed plant did great all the way, but the unflushed plant showed signs of wilting and yellowing due to salt build up about 6 weeks into flower.
I am not talking about the pre-harvest flush. I recommend a monthly flush for wick systems - especially if you veg for a long time.
Otherwise wicking works great and is inexpensive and nothing can break!
