Question about DYI aerocloner + RO Water

I built a DIY Aerocloner (KingRalph style). I put cuttings in there on Monday (12/1) and no roots yet. Some of the leaves on the cuttings are droopy and some might be turning yellow (might just be in my mind).

Temps are steady at 72F to 77F, pH steady at 5.8-5.9

My question is, since I'm using RO water in the cloner, should I add a few ml of CalMag+ in there? Does anyone else have any issues with these cloners where they simply don't work for one reason or another? I know people usually see roots in a week and I'm still not a week out yet, but I just am wondering.

Thanks for any replies. I appreciate it.

You are good.

Temps sound fine. Ph is a little low but not a killer.
EZ-Clone says the best operating parameters are Temps 75 and Ph 6.3

I have had strains that take 3 weeks to clone in the DIY EZ - Haze.

The yellowing may be related to how you took the cuttings...prior nutrient loading. Or not. Fact is it's past the point of worrying about.
A little Cal-mag isn't gonna green them back up.

Push on.

Thanks for the positive words and the advice. I used pH down to get it down to 5.8. I'll let it climb naturally back to 6.3 and just hang tight for some roots.

Besides a few leaks on the lip of the rubbermaid, this cloner as been virtually maintenance -free. And that's exactly how I likes it :)

Sorry I took so long to reply. I am using a 14 gallon Rubbermaid half full with water.

About the leakproofing.. I currently have a huge problem with leaking. I tried various widths of weather sealant on the lip of the rubbermaid as well as on the underside of the rubbermaid, but it leaks something awful. The best I've come up with for the time being is automotive weather sealant plus velcroing the sides of the lid down to the base plus weighing down the lid with random heavy stuff. And it STILL drips.

My suggestion is to find a rubbermaid bin with a very good seal. However, that's hard to do at the store so... :(

I went with a 31 gallon Rubbermaid roughneck tote.
Good lip on these. I have never had a leak.
