Mikado1- Vegging about a month . In 2 gal. pots most of the time , but I make sure to let them root out the 5 gallons for about a week before flowering . Takes some extra time and space but stronger root system makes for good yields . I start flowering at about 2 -3 ft tall , depending on strain . These end up about 5 ft tall .

nice grow, joe. i've had similair results with the dd. i grow them in soil under 600w. i had 5 females, 1 hermie, still deciding between two. both resemble sd ibl in bud structure. one is a better yielder and has a funkier smell, the other is a little more potent. my phenos stretch quite a bit, so i flower at 12" and harvest around two oz's per plant.
i did see some of the leaf verigation(sp?) associated with t.m.v. in my first crop. i do use tobacco products so maybe i spread it to the plants?
great strain, i'll keep it for a long time.

Nice yields I will be using 2.5 gallon pots of coco and I hope I get 2 oz per plant in a 32 plant perpetual with the Chem DD, harvesting 8 every 2 weeks. Yours looks very tasty i hope mine come out the same they are very strong veggers.

...you really think that 5 ounces is not normal for 5 gallon pots and flowering at 2 ft? ive never had less than four ounces from a five gallon pot, usually 6-8, but i always flower when they hit 20in. at least. maybe it has something to do with you not vegging them long enough. like he said, developing root structure and overall plant size in veg is a must for decent yields.

eidanyosoy- Thanks , they were all pretty tall before showing sex . You might want to plan on them going a little longer than 8 weeks . Good luck with yours !

I read this three times and I saw the question but keep missing the answer. Did you get your girls from a seed co, or from a passed on local cut? I'm not trying to be a dick real question. This is one of ten strains that I am considering "only have room for four out of the ten" so I am taking your smoke report a little more serious than I should sorry.
