Bubba Kush... I think this is the pre-98; anyone have any knowledge on this?






White Gold:

A strain from the west coast, and this particular cut came from Washington state and is some type of old-school skunk or something. It is really similar to the Cheese and is extremely pungent! This one produces a prolific amount of resin and some very potent buds!

bubba looks like the pre-98 I used to have, SO DANK. The blades on the fans are the right width and have the right amount of frost, plus the colors are no doubt the purple tips on the calyxs are for sure. Looks like she could be denser but that's bubba! Peace

Hey, thanks for confirming that this is the pre-98 Bubba... The guy who I got the clone from said he has had connections with some guy in the L.A. area for about 20 somethin' years and he also is the guy I got my OG Kush cut from, and I run two different cuts of the OG... The other is Orgnkid's S1 and even though it is a super heavy hitter it still doesn't compare to the real deal OG Kush, especially in the taste department!!!

As for this pre-98 Bubba though, this stuff truly is the REAL deal IMHO, it tastes soooooo good, like coffee and chocolate and just straight up dank ass Bubba!!! Plus the stone is incredible! I am really diggin the colors on her this time, slightly lower night temps are bringing them out! I don't know how much more dense these buds could get, and denser and you wouldn't be able to break a bud up to smoke it! LOL!!!

I found out lowering the temps too soon during flowering minimizes and stops, or slows down the bud growth. After the flowers fill out would be the best time to start gettin them cold for the colors. Try it this time as you are and post back if you have seen the approximate flowering size that you presume they should be or if they have gotten any bigger in the bud dept. Two runs of mine in the past were stopped due to the cold. Tried to get them moving again but it would have taken too much time,so chop,chop.

Hey there.... colder temps do affect the buds and can cause lockouts of certain nutrients, but we are not talking about freezing temps, just temps in the 50's at night (ºF). Temps during the day are 77-82, and honestly nothing else is really turning purple or showing signs of stress due to "cold" temps.... These Bubba nugs at this point in flower (6 weeks) are larger and fatter than Bubba nugs I used to get in Los Angeles, as I am originally from southern California.... When all is said and done I will post some dry weights up and we will see... I don't know if I would grow the Bubba SCROG again, or if I do I will veg her much longer and transplant into a larger container before flower.

How long did you veg the bubba for? I find it to be a s-l-o-w v-e-g-g-e-r but otherwise, tits. Maybe a little tight on the yeild for my liking... in a 8" pot I have gotten 35g per plant.... hopefully this most recent crop 40g (we'll know in a few days).

Like I said though homey looking nice.

i love master, and og. there used to be a guy up where i live who only grew og. some of my friends who don't care about what they're smoking as much as i do, got tired of it after a while "it's the same thing over and over, we want variety!". personally, i was stuck on it. i kept going back and back haha. ...then he shot some friend of his and is jail now. GG

As for Bubba, the best version I've had was from a med shop in Southern California called Platinum Bubba Kush. The color was amazing, trich coverage was insane, the taste was orgasmic, and the high planted you for hours. I want it. Now. In and around my lungs, preferably :(

...Platinum Bubba Kush, lol! Just another reason they get away with charging ridicules prices... Last time I was down in the Venice area went to this one place and their prices were outrageous: $75-80 an 1/8th!!! Got a gram of some Ultra Bubba Kush or something like that and it was good but NOT worth the price! Plus it wasn't organic, or flushed!

To answer an earlier question-- yes this Bubba is the SLOWEST vegger on the planet, OMG!!! But well worth the wait, IMHO!

It's a pleasure having you come by my thread dude, really... You are the Kush master so to hear you say this puts a smile on my face!!!

So this pre-98 Bubba is really looking super dank @ 50 days-- I don't know how much longer I am going to take her, probably harvest between 8 and 9 weeks to be honest. I don't want to go to sleep after smoking her, so I don't think I will be taking her the full 70 days! Sorry folks!!! Hehehehehe... I don't smoke that much as it is, so one bong-rip of this stuff will tork me til the sun comes up, LOL!!! One thing is for sure-- this baby is gonna taste like heaven and get you fuckin' stoned!!!

Took a nice array of pictures of this Bubba-licious gal, she's @ 50 days today!
