bud that taste like topsoil

I get alot of bud around the city and alot of it has the same kind of taste. Its mostly from like hood black dudes, and it literally taste like topsoil. any one know anystrains that have that characteristic. is it something added?

Some strains are soil tasting, just like dirt or earth. I had some AK47 x sudden impact crosses and a johnny blaze pheno taste like that. They were nice and potent but tasted like dirt , I personally don't smoke them as much as other strains, but are nice for mixing it up once in a while. IF you had the choice between a dirt taste and a candy taste which would you choose? I like my smoking experience to be as enjoyable as possible, which includes taste.

haha exactly, it just so common around here especially where i work to smell that dirt earthy smell.

personally i would rather have a nice kushy hashy taste not a soil taste haha

The earthy weed sometimes has a darker tone to it, some people think it's outdoor even if it's indoor weed.

I like an earthy taste, but some weed is shitty for sure,
dunno if it's the screwed up drying process or just the weed

I also prefer a skunky, citrusy, fruity

the earthy has cousins in the peppery range, and other spicy

I got that once from letting my plant sit in the bucket waiting to be chopped it did not take very long to dry out but had a dirt flavor to it i will never let it dry out to that ex stint again while sitting in the bucket waiting to be harvested

Perhaps it's mold? Forest mulch gets its special aroma from various mold types.

lol That's the taste of a true kush plant. Sensi Seeds hashplant tastes like that, so does the pheno of Blueberry I have. Although the bb has just a lil sweetness to it and the hashplant has a heavy hash flavor, both have that soil taste on the exhale. Both are very potent as well...... HA! I've folks tell that before, "I'm not tryin ta cut yer weed down but it taste jus like dirt when I blow out!" 15 minutes later her face was as white as a ghost, then she got dizzy and sweaty and had to sit down with a fan on her. lol I thought she was gonna get sick any minute! She told me later that shits like poison! I laughed an said yeah -that- dirtweed is purdy good huh. BC

Yeah I caught what ya said about it bein good, that's why I thought it's prolly a true kush of some sort, and not mexican dirt weed. It's not my favorite flavor either, but it is what it is. That's why I posted what I did. Jus tryin ta bring some clarification to the subject, that's all.... BC
