is it still good to use, is it cause of the cold?

If you're talking about General Hydroponics Europe 3-part GROW, then this is probably harmless (which GHE generally states on the bottle).

The GH(E) 3-part is entirely mineral-based, and if stored correctly (cold, dry and dark), then this product will stay good eternally. Humidity (entering the bottle), heat and strong light can provoke chemical reactions that affects the quality of the product though.

I've seen the Micro fall out of solution but, not the Grow (the green bottle)

The official fix is mix with equal parts hot water and use at "double" strength. Or, the Lucas Formula is achieved by throwing the Grow formula in the garbage and using simply Micro and Bloom. Grow is the zero in 0-8-16.

If he already have GROW, then no point in throwing it away FB. The Lucas Formula isn't an improvement on the original formula - that can be composed in different ratios for different needs. It is only a reformulation of the basic NPK needs, that can be sustained with MICRO and BLOOM (since they all contain NPK in different ratios). Conclusion; there are more options and flexibility in a 3-part mix than in a 2-part mix. The Lucas Formula is basically for growers that don't want to shell those few extra dollars for the third component.

First, let's note my primary suggestion made use of the grow formula.

Years before I learned of the internet or Lucas, I "invented" the Lucas formula on my own. Trying to hit the mythical Frank/Rosenthal NPK numbers was impossible using Grow. At least with the Stateside variety. Without it, you can come real close. It's the only bottle giving him grief and the only bottle he doesn't need. How can you pass on a deal like that?

I see your point FB, no bad intended. A lot of Lucas formula growers actually seem to think they grow "better" pot with the LF than using all three parts.

You refer to the "mythical Mel Frank/Ed Rosenthal" ideal NPK ratio. I personally believe that the optimal NPK ratio does not exist, in any case not as an ideal ratio for all drug type Cannabis plants. In a large perspective, the needs of the Cannabis plant isn't any different from other fast-growing temperate zone plants.

In a more narrow perspective, then needs of each strain and even particular genotype is different, and will therefore profit from a tested and dialed in NPK formula that responds to its particular needs.

It tells itself that a 3-part formula - where you can alter the NPK ratios throughout the grow, and adapt it to the particular cycle of the plant - will be a more precise feeding than a 2-part formula, just as a 4 or 5 part formula could fine-tune the needs of the plant even more. Or, as Canna did, simply put out pure N, P and K nutes, and let you mix your optimal ratios yourself.
The notion that all the goodies are in the MICRO and BLOOM components and the GROW component is useless simply doesn't wash. There's nothing evil about the GROW. Some growers simply feel - especially hydroponic growers - that the GROW part can cause problems (for instance build-ups) and you therefore profit from reformulating the ratios and leave it out.
I personally think that most strains profit from using GROW in terms of growth structure and foliar mass, but that doesn't prevent me from using the Lucas formula if that is called for.

Were one bottle pure N, another pure P, and the last pure K, 3 bottles would work. This is not the case. I did not leave out Grow because of buildups, I left it out because it provided nothing that wasn't already in Micro and Bloom in more usable proportions.

thanks on the info guys ;)

personaly i just use it cause i think some strains like more N than others, so for indica hibrids and stuff i believe they can use the extra nitrogen to make bigger leafs etc...anyways im still very noob compared to u guys lol

i placed it on a more warm enviroment...it was at 3/6cº :S lol

thanks a lot for the help... ;)
