Ive just been growing for so long in the same set up and the same yeild i want to come up with a new way i havent seen to yeild more....because to tell you the truth, all the training techniques i use to give me more up the yeild a little, to if i didnt train at all...but i want somthin that will put me up i pretty good amount.
And having 40-50 small plants in tiny containters sounds just like a big hassel to me, and hydro just isnt an option....and btw im "Levitikuz" that came up with the $50 ebb n flo in the DIY section that is rated in the top 5 picks of the admin.
So ive came up with some 1 good thing, why not try and come up with another =]

The reason i like the idea i like to watch those early morning garden shows

One of the things that caught my attention they take a pot varies in size put a nice size plant in the middle and set lots of colored plants around it

When i read your thread it was the first thing that came to mind may not be the same thing i am no expert

If it works out for you i was thinking of 2 plants in a five gallon buckets and bend one of them left and the other one to the right let them veg a little while to let the canopy even out and see what happens

I use soil beds and cram as many plants as i can into a small space... no need to tell me about plant count.

Here the doubles are in the same 8 inch pot and they are budding at the exact same rate...looking really freaking good, alot better then i thought was going to come outa it. This means i can fit double the plants in the same amount of space....they vegged for a month too...damn i wish i had doubled everything now.

Well i am sure you are pleased with your results so far cant wait for the final numbers to come in

We are limited to the number of plants we put in our system by how many pots we can fit into a space this seems to make up for that loss of space you get from the pots butting against each other

This could help to make a better producing gardens for big bucket users like myself

I had thrown around the idea of putting smaller plants in 3 gallon grow bags and set them in the open spots where the buckets meet to fill in all the space

Yup, so im really looking forward to this last 28 days...and this pheno Def. plumps up in its last 2 weeks of flower....ill show pics of the plants in there own 8 inch pot compared to the 2 in the same pot. And even if it is just a bit smaller ill still be over what it woulda been if there was just 1 in there.
So if all of them were like that i bet i would be yeilding 75% more on this coming up harvest of 17 plants....Man its goin to be a good harvest tho =]
I know for sure ima hit atlewast 24 ounces which is awesoem

Thanks bro, just trying a new thing and trying to maxamize my yeild with the space i got and the light i got, so hopefully it buds out all the way like it looks like its going to and other growers can benefit from this thread.
And again i started those clones both in a 8 oz plastic cup then transplanted them into to 8 inch pot letting them veg for a little over a month.

There's another thread currently running called "size matters" and should be combined with this one.
The other thread debates the yield/container size issue.
Kinda makes sense to me that roots that are typically a 1/4 inch in diameter can share a lot of space as long as they all get fed. The lights/nutes does the rest.?

Well i would say ya, because even when i run 1 3-4ft plant in these small 8 inch pots i feed em the lucas formula and under the 1000HPS they yeild alone very very well. So i was thinking double it up get 2 plants in the 8 inch pots up to 3 ft tall and if i were able to do that with all 15 i run at once that would be 30 plants total and even if it reduced the yeild 75% per plant when you double it up your still up a whole lot more then you would be if you ran the reg 15 plants singly.
And the doubled plants ive still fed only the lucas fomula, didnt raise the nute solution or anyhting, kepy everything the same cept 2 plants instead of 1.

Wow, you've had to explain this thread soo many times and it seems so simple. Yea, ICMAG is finally letting me post now, thank god. But I can't wait to see how much those twins yield. After I've got a little more experience I might give it a try, that means you'd be the trendsetter for me! And i'm sure you're not the first to do this, and i'm sure this won't 'revolutionize' growing and all growers will soon be doing it, but it IS cool as fuck, different, and a great encouragement for growers to think outside the box.
