Time to feed the girls. Question.

Since inception they've only had water,.
They're now close to finishing second week of flowering and are showing signs that they want food (leaves are light green, bottom fan leaves slight yellowing)

A friend prescribes to give them Grow Big (6-4-4) since its an N problem, but that's a nutrient which is given to them when vegging. I am flowering.

I want to give Tiger Bloom (2-8-4) which is given when plants are flowering.
But would it solve their crave for Nitrogen?

so what does everyone think I should do?

Again plants had no food since inception.

Heres some quick info to whomever needs it.
8x26w 2700k CFLS
FFOF soil, 25% perlite, 25% potting soil
Tap water ph 6.5
10 inch plants in, 16oz containers. (cuttings)
Humidity 50%, 75F lights on, 64 Lights off.

Hey sneakin, thanks for quick reply.
Can't take pics cause its dark hours. ;)
Trust me I've got enough Cal + Mag. I think maybe even too much.
TDS read my tap as 290ppm.

Do u think Tiger bloom would be enough for their N fix?

just use the grow big one more time its got enough of the other stuff for now, you could use both, half of each what you would normally use and see if it helps.

use the grow big twice in flowering two feedings in a row...thats one thing I kept in my fox farm feeding schedule from their guide on their website

also if you use their tri pack cha ching is used at the end and has 9.0% N + huge phos dose

check out the link in my sig for tri pack thread and check out fox farms feeding schedule on their website...I don't feed as much or as often as it says, but it will give you a decent idea.

I start every fert at a 1/4 and go up to half and only feed every 3-4 days which may have not been enough not sure might need every 3 days.

I watered Sunday with 1/4 strength Grow Big, and it's Wed now and still no change, lower leaves getting more yellow.
Today I'm watering with just Phed water but should I go with the 1/2 again?
Let me know thanks.

Leaves that have suffered from an N def usually do not recover, they keep yellowing 'til they fall off.
In general, cannabis doesnt use much N when flowering, and Grow is more for veg than flowering.
When i used FF nutes, i used the 3 bottles, Grow, tiger and bloom, and just like most 3 part formulas, the grow is used mostly during veg, and gets almost entirely cut out during flower.
You need to give your plants a flowering mixture.
I'm not sure if your intent on using FF nutes or your open for any brand but whichever you choose, you need to feed them a flowering mix.
For example, i use GH flora series, the green, purple and pink bottles. A typical veg formula is 3-2-1, (tsp/gal) and flowering is 1-2-3.
Hope i explained it good enough, lol.
It wont hurt to give them just the Grow, but at this stage in the plants life it needs ALOT more p-k, with a small amount of N. You should be fine if you give them the proper mix.

Good luck.

I understand what you're saying. and I do have the FF trio.
I wanna give them grow one last time because not only are the yellow leaves yellowing, the lush green hasn't showed signs of returning.

My question is, can I feed again 1/4 strength or should I feed after watering.

In general, when growing in soil you dont feed with every watering. You might get away with hitting them with nutes again. I say MIGHT, i'm not taking responsibility for nute burned plants, lol.
Personally, i think if you went full strength it wouldnt fix your problem. They are going on there 3rd week of flowering, they need more p and k. Why not give them what they need? tiget bloom has N in it, and combined with the Grow and big bloom they'll be getting what they need.
Just giving them Grow you will eventually swap one def for another.

So you think I should go with Tiger and Big bloom my next feeding and that the plant regain it's green color.

I would go with the recommended flowering mix, at half strength. The leaves that are already yellow from N def will not green up again. But over all the plant will exhibit a more lush color, and it will start fattening up.
According to FF feeding scedule, 3rd week of flowering is 2tsp/grow, 2tsp/tiger, 1 tbsp/big. Go half strength. And then follow the recommened feed schedule.
The beauty of a 3 aprt fert is you can mix custom ratios. I am not well versed in cutom mixes of FF nutes but i know plenty of peeps here are.
Maybe somebody can offer up a nice mix to help your particular situation.
Usually, when i'm growing in dirt, i dont feed at all during veg, but as soon as i flip the lights to flower i start with 1/4 strength flower formula.
Hope i didnt confuse you, just trying to help.
Evl

*Edit* Go with 1/4 strength to start, dont wanna burn those ladies. If all goes well then you can increase dosage next feeding.

you should just give the tiger bloom. its gon N in it. it just has more flower nutes than veg.

its like having 1 glass that can hold 10 units of x. whether you give 6 units of N and 2 each of P and K its still 10 units. in flower you want more P and K and less N. even though theres lower N numbers in tiger bloom it still has N and the plants will still absorb it and use it. also wanna stay on top of that Magnesium. its the most important thing in flowering stage. P+K are important too but not as important as Mag , it regulates the uptake of nutrients.

went from this to that in less than a week.

mag def of epic proportions. phosphorous is off too.
