It just started, and it apparently has a TV-MA rating, which surprises me. And Greg Giraldo is part of the lineup, so it might be alright.

from what i saw it looked like it sucked ass, but i'll give it a chance.

between cheech being a sell out piece of shit IMO and it being on tbs i really dont expect much.

yeah the show was pretty bad IMHO. 80% roast the other people, 20% roast Cheech and Tommy (AKA tell some stupid story about how cheech and chong made you get addicted to pot and it ruined your life...)
I didn't even watch the whole thing. Oh well.

only decent part was seeing cheech and chong crack a few jokes, which actually were pretty fuckin good..

cant wait to see what these mofuckers do in their new movie.. i have a feeling now its gonna be wellll god damn worth it

yea i watched most of it but well anyway i was glad to see tommy and cheech back in the spotlight at least. you could def. tell they were blazed tho. and hey at least a pretty tame channel is doing a show about weed. its for sure the chronic years are here!

Wasn't aware of the roast, and from what I've been reading online, they are going to release a live DVD of the Light Up America tour they are on.

I've been trying to think of a decent story to a new Cheech and Chong Movie, and I think this thread has sparked an idea or two.

Tommy Chong goes to a doctor because he's in pain. No, not a hang nail, arthritis. It was originally a hang nail, but he left the office with cancer. Chong then gets his medication card. He heads up to a dispensary, but he'd rather die first than pay these exuberant prices. After trying out several pounds of free samples, he leaves. He calls upon his friend Cheech Marin to be his caretaker.

Cheech said he can grow his weed for him and has a bible on growing weed. He reads it out loud to Chong and it sounds easy enough with very simple instructions. (feel free to make it as simple as possible). They both set up grow rooms. A month or so passes and still no weed.

Chong feels like his situation is getting worse and needs weed now, so they drop the weed growing idea and head to Mexico. Meanwhile the cops are tracking some drug traffic, and they think that the car with Cheech and Chong is the subject vehicle. Cheech and Chong finally get high while in Mexico.

After their car is stolen and reported, the two unwittingly agree to drive the real trafficer's car across the boarder. At the border, they are stopped and questioned and get high with one of the border patrol officers. They park their car for a while and head back to retrieve Cheech's car which was found and cleared a few blocks away.

While they are getting the car back, the police search the parked car. They return and are arrested and questioned. Since it wasn't their car, they are released. They drive back home and find that their grow rooms flourished and they now have tons of weed.

Feel free to complain or add anything to this such as ideas and dialog....

I missed some of it but from what I saw it was less lame than expected, I hadn't realized that Geraldo Rivera (never thought I'd EVER type his name in a forum) was such a stoner, he claimed to have gotten high with his friend Cheech in every country in the western world & Cheech nodded in agreement, weird.

I'd rate it 7.5 or so myself.......

I had a some good laughs but it seemed like the presenters were on each other way more than the honorees. It did take me back to watching "Up in Smoke". I remember laughing my ass off, when they were hot boxing the car and the cop was tapping on the window. The stuff with Martha Stewart, totally fucking lame.
