hehe yeah man... hehe

this is the first time im using a tarp. if there is no problems with humidity leaking thru and causing problems - i will continue with using tarps - its one tenth of the price of the hydro trays..

Yeah hydro trays are seriously overpriced. Pond liner and plywood is all you need really. And a trip to Biltema for the outlet :)

In the veg cab I use pond liner that's just folded up against the sides of the cab so it can hold a bit of liquid. Trays just never fit as they should haha

cool :D

pond liner is superior to tarp - and once i get tired of the tarp im thinking of building the trays out of water tight concrete. it would be the most strongest material i can think of and indoors it should last almost for ever hehe. im very good at using the tools involved hehe :D so it shouldnt be to time consuming.

also im thinking of later pulling the excess water out with tubing rigth out in the garden. just let it drain into a hole filled with rocks and gravel - and there should be a really green spot around it all year hehe :D

but for now the tarp kicks ass!

i just transplanted most of the biggest plants in the new flowering room. the two biggest are left, and also all the clones. i think im going to flower the clones in 6 liter pots - they've been in them for a few weeks, but i dont think its a big problem.. in a few weeks if i see their pots get dry too fast then i will transplant - i can only water once a day - its all taking lots of time now.. also there is 1-2 smaller plants i will transplant left.. but their pots were too wet..

in the flowering room the CTxPTK who had the few nanners is continuing to fatten up and looks quite nice yielding. the smell is intense and so fruity its crazy. the bud shape is building up to look a bit like the CT in shape - but more longer. the other pehno with no nanners is looking very PTK dominant really - slow to build up, and it might just get smal nugs - lets see - but for the moment the nanners pheno is looking like a winner.

i saw even more seeds around in the nugs - work of the nanners.. well this far it looks like 10-20 and its very local - no worries. i will just pick em out and throw them,..

the big alibi is looking very nice, and also the small one is starting to fill up. both are resinous, but anything looks a bit crappy next to the big alibi..

the diva-G x LP is looking like its going to become a nice fat sat dom kola. slow, but resinous.

the jamaica x uzb thats left is looking very smokeable hehe its got fat calyx and lots of resin - but the buds are very spread out and not too fat. never the less it should be nice smoke. the other one that was fucked up, i made BHO with a few days ago - and it sure is potent..

the 3 ssh x ptk flowering from seed are looking nice - all resinous. one got buds with a higher calyx to leaf ratio, and the two other look like very long flowering phenos and i dont really dare to speculate too much yet. looks good - but i dont know if it will end upp filling up the holes in the tip or not. its gonna be very tought o select a keeper - they are all very different. there is one more of the plants from seed of this cross by cloneman in the new room - and there is a few clones of the same.

the jamaican girls all look good - the negril strain does look like she is going to be slightly more resinous and productive than the beeniemans choice.

the jotake is starting to get a deep red/purple tone and its definetly looking nice :D maybe not a big yielder though..

the guatemalans are doing their thing.. it actually seems the mexican verde limon - a michoacan variety if i dont remember wrong, is going to be faster to build up.

the sativa crosses with banghi have all very little development at this far. they are going to be slow too it seems.

the ecsd x ogk looks like its going to be nice and resinous nugs - but very small.. i think this one must perform better in sog in clone form - but it most likelly needs a lot of light to fill up well. im going to plant more of them bit by bit and see how it goes :D

the veg area is a mess.. gotto put the seedlings on 12/12 as soon as i can to sex them.. got many - and i dont need to keep males of more than the ssh/ptk x ptk in that bunch.

trashed and going to bed.. pics tomorow or something,.

peace

I mean.... I think that it's probably alright for someone to mail No Pest strips to you. They don't weigh much, so the postage wouldn't be all that much. I think that they might be the most cost effective solution for mites. They have worked really well for me. I usually don't put them in the flowering room the last few weeks just to be absolutely sure. I saw one in one of Subcool's pictures, so I assume he thinks they're safe.

I read up on the active ingredient dichlorvos. From what I can tell, it's really toxic at high doses, but you'd never get that from these. I would have to intake about .83 grams a day every day for a period of years for it to statistically increase any risk of any health condition. Considering that would mean eating these things bit by bit over a few days repeatedly, consistently, for a couple of years, there is not really any risk associated with their use. Also, the half-life of the chemical is around 2 days at the very worst, so, even if you used them up until the end of flowering, there wouldn't be any left at the end of a week of drying. Just a couple of thoughts.

tobaaaac - yeah - its a thought worth considering! some of the products i haave have a quite extended life, and im worried at times for my cats. they are small buggers - i mean the cats, hehe and they are very sensitive for posions in general, having a kidney the size of a finger tip..

but if i cant find anything about dangers for domestic animals, im going to check out this option.

at the moment im using a german product called Kannamite - and i more or less seem to have momentarilly at least, gotten rid of them. the kannamite i miss uderstod the dosage, and i was using too little for a while. last time i used the dose the pack says after i took time to translate it, and i havent seen mites since :D

if the no pest strips take away white fly, its also a good thing hehe..

peace!

Goodness gracious. You've got me jonesing for hash now, and I have to wait a week before I can make any more.

From what I can tell, a No Pest strip will kill anything that is not a mammal. For some reason, dichlorvos breaks down almost instantly in a mammal's body. If I have another outbreak, I'm going to try Floramite, I think. I was thinking that if I see another outbrake, it would be because they seem to have developed some resistance to the dichlorvos.

I think I remember seeing you talk about upping the Kannamite concentration previously.

Have fun playing in the coco.

i thought it was time to clean out runts in the first hps room, to make space for the better phenos to get more light..

i finally cut a lot of undergrowth on strains im very sure i wont re-veg - and i re ordered almost all of the plants - to get more light in..

im eventually going to ut a few more when i think they got enough resin for BHO.

i cut today the JOTAKE - that ontop of beeing low yielding its a hermie. so that one goes straigth to the bho tube as soon as its dry..

its a shame so many of the LMN strains go hermie indoors - the worst part is the ones that do make it thru are VERY DAMN POTENT.. but its very risky for indoor growing..

i planted a few more of crosses made by him and i bet its going to get interesting to see if any of them turn out better. i still got a bunch of banghi crosses and one congo left..

You certainly are the king of exotic strains, at least in my book. Never heard of most of them. Well, sorry about the hermie(s).

My cheeses are getting too stinky now, it's not fun anymore :(

B

bonecarver_OG

ooooooooooooooh daaaaaaaamn....

the JOTAKE had LOTS OF MALE FLOWERS. it looks liked a damn banana plantation.. the worst part is the nugs in are full of seeds - and most likelly the plants around her also.

very expensive mistake.

I have had very BAD experience in general with the LMN genetics, but as said most go hermie..

i cant bear my self to even imagine how devastating effect this will have on me and my economy if it goes all to hell. DAMN. i cant express how disapointed i am at the moment. i certainly hope there isnt too many seeds in all of the plants...

im so angry.

B

bonecarver_OG

damn i cant belive it - when i think back my mate marijuanaut said his jotake turned out kick ass.. hehehe

im just having som bad luck with the beans hehe
