Seeking info on C99 x Apollo 11

Hey everyone:
I have just recently started a batch of C99 x Apollo 11
beans and I was hoping someone who has grown the
cross (or either individual strain) could let me know about
recommended flowering times, desirable phenos and the like.

In the past I have only grown bagseed, northernberry
and pure skunk, so I'm a bit of a newb when it comes
to strain knowledge.

Thanks for the help,

(why do you think they call me)Dope

The flowering period should be 7-8 weeks since both A11 and C99 finish in about 7 weeks

A11 is (C99x Genius) so its similar to C99

I cant remember the what C99 is exactly made up of, its like (princess 88 x ....)

There aren't a ton of phenos to be looking for but the best are sativa dominant with a lemon or pineapple scent

I think you got it the other way around. The shorter branchier lemon scented phenos are the ones to look out for.

I think at this point where there has been so much bad luck with A11 and C99 that you should be happy with any pheno you get

from what I know the genius pheno will be throwing branches every which way. I know this strain to not be a pole plant, but the genius pheno will be twice "bushier / branches " then the others, someone correct me if I'm wrong as this was a long time ago on OG that I saw a pic of this pheno.

maybe rez would be kind enough to show us a pic of his genius clone ?

I am prolly out of the loop but what bad luck are you speaking of?

Most grows ive seen people said the stretchy sativa dom phenos they had took forever to finish and was pretty mild in potency. Besides this I havent read a bad word about A11.

Rez's lost his A11 recreate project and had his c99 delayed
Wallyduck's C99 had bad germ rates which became freebies

I certainly appreciate the anecdotal info. I, too have "heard"
and "read" things about this strain, but my question was
directed to those who have *grown* the strain or the crosses.

I'm sorry if there was some misunderstanding.

I am currently growing A11 from JoeyWeed (staring my 4th week now).

Prehaps the breeders description will satisfy you:

"Expect some variation among individuals. The best females are short, heavily branched plants with multitudes of dense, resinous bud sites - perfect for SCROG."

As stated before, you are looking for the short, branchier, lemon scented girls (Genius Pheno). From my due diligence before buying this strain, everyone who had a sativa dominate pheno said it took forever to finish and was rather mild in potency.

Apollo: Thanks for your input and I hope your
grow goes well. My C99 x A11 grow is at about 4 weeks
also, and should go to 12/12 this week, so I guess
I'll be finding out about phenos soon enough!

Peace

Have a bunch of Apollo's going now, my own f2's from Grimm stock, as well as a pack of Rez's Apollo Trip, and one lone A11 X C99 I got from an old buddy from OG days.
Apollo is great for a SCROG set-up; the branches are weak and need supporting, but are very pliable. Look for the zigzagging between nodes, a Genius trait, seen here:

Very easy strain to grow, moderate feeder.
Best of luck, and let us know how it goes!

I used to grow C'99 from Femaleseeds.
I recommend keeping it on veg 24/0 for about 28 days, than 12/12. After a bit more than a week you should see the gender of your plant and than after about 7 weeks it's ready to harvest.
It's possible grow it with 12/12 but if you decide to do that you will get a much smaller plant

That is a beautiful and healthy plant, no red on the stems at all. :jump:

I think thats the phenos I found in my JW A11, this is some of the best tasting weed I have ever smoked and it makes me laugh my @ss off.

If anyone would just do a few seed runs of the Apollo or genius lines. They would be the new King of popularity and fund retirement. much like the original s have done for them. Being a C99 smoker since release i can say its the best thing for waking up and losing reality. How many of us were incredibly let down due to them beans getting quashed.
