2nd Grow NL & Bagseed

Well I'm going to try again. I had some NL seeds and figured it was time to give it another go round. I started out with three but one of them suicided. I'm also in the process of starting some bagseed that someone gave me. He didn't know the strain but referred to it as "killer bud."

This is the same guy that gave me bagseed previously and I ended growing a Sativa. She attempted to take over my entire grow area and I had to harvest early out of self-defense. I even put whiskey in the soil to stunt her growth or at least slow her growth rate. I think she was planning on world domination. Great smoke though.

I'm using CFL's to start and will move them to 150w HPS w/ four 100w CFL's after the first week. Here's how they look so far.

The person who gave me the bagseed assured me that they were NOT Sativa but a Sativa/Indica blend. We'll see.

Addendum: I forgot to add that I will be LST'ing this time. I'm a LST'ing virgin so be gentle.

what was ur harvest like from ur last grow?

have you ever growin nl befor?

i just harvested sum nl a couple weeks ago and it just smells nasty it has a off makes ur noise hairs start on fire smell but it taste great looks really good a its potent not the strongest but its strong enough it just stinks but i will grow it again

I harvested the Sativa about two weeks early. Great smoke.

I really don't know. But it filled up half of a gallon jug when I was curing it.

Finally, after much worrying and fretting, the first bagseed sprout has made an appearance. Hopefully the other two will do the same in the next 24 hours. It's hell being a daddy.

I can't believe after all the boneheaded stunts I've pulled, the girls are looking healthy. Despite my best efforts to the contrary.

They're starting to smell. The bagseed has a fresh lemony smell while the NL's are stinky. WAY stinky. I find that rather surprising. hmm...

The bagseed girls are sexy. The NL's are a bit stretchy but I'm going to rectify that with my HPS as soon as my new bulb gets here. The last one shattered when I was setting it up. Bad time for this to happen. Shipping is delayed due to the holidays. grrrr.

Do my plants look healthy? I'm starting my flowering cycle today and I don't want to screw this up. The tall ladies are NL's and the short ones are bagseed with the assurance that they're a afghan strain. We'll see.

This is only my second grow and I want to get it right.

So far both the NL's are girls. The bagseed hasn't really shown. But I love how short and bushy they are. I really really wish I knew what strain they were. *sigh*

The other NL isn't showing any balls and the two bagseed plants aren't flowering yet. Keeping fingers crossed.

I can't say that I'm surprised considering what I put them through. Oh well, next time.

Knowing my luck they'll all turn out to be males.
