Phew that's the check list.. Anyway my seedlings are growing so slow and i don't know what it is.. I just repotted them today to see if it'll help but i don't think the old pots were that small considering the small size of the plants. They are about two weeks old but they hardly grow, they do grow though but not like I've seen in all the other grow logs around here & elsewhere.

Today.

In the back is the rh meter.. at 27% right now.. I have a small humidifier in there but all the humidity escapes when i open the closet.

mmmh sounds weird to me....exept that the ph being a little high i can't see wht should be wrong with you describing the situation.....ther's on thing i can think of....and that is that you light have a runt on your hands...i've had seedling stop growing after 2 or 3 nodes...and it ends up witrh just a leave....somewhere down the line it forgets to split into a next node and stops growing....Nway just chucking my :2cents:

Okay thanks. I am considering scrapping them as obviously something is wrong. I'll put in some new plants and see if they outgrow them. No use keeping a crappy plant anyway..

i wouldnt scrap em. theyre a little slow for 2 weeks. they should be on the 3rd node by this time. looks like the ph in your soil might be off or most likely the soil is too wet. you see the burnt tips on your leaves. let the soil dry out completely before you water again. i think you will see them recover. even if you are going to scrap em leave em in the box as usual till you have your other plants going before you trash em.

Yes I am not scrapping them yet. I do not think I'm overwatering as sometimes i have problems getting the soil wet because it gets too dry between waterings.. but I have not seen any dry wilt either.

The burnt tips i think is because they grew too close to the lights one day. The other seedling is much worse, i think it's a no-go, but still keeping it to see if it'll recover.

pH measured on runoff is kinda high around 7.1 or so, but not too much above 7 so no alarms going off i think.. ? My tap water pH is 8.2 roughly i am gonna try to add a tiny bit of vinegar to get the ph down to around 7.5 before watering, good idea?

I mixed soil fresh out of the bag with deionized water (the kind you put in batteries and steam irons, i didn't have distilled but this is pretty much the same right?) and let it sit for an hour, then i drained the water off.. the pH of the soil buffered water was around 6.2.. The water straight out of the bottle is pH 7.1.

when problems arise, take a step back and think, simple is better in these situations. it is after all a plant.

-not sure the pot size but that looks way way small ( not sure what size though )
-take out the rocks on top, you only need soil ( simple is better till you get things down )
-repot them in bigger pots, with fresh soil, and leave them be for a couple days
-don't give any nutes, just ph water to 6.5 and leave it till the cotolyns turn yellow
-don;t get to technical in PH'ing as soil has a natural buffer, if your at 5-7 your ok.
-not sure what de-ionized water is, just put water in a bucket, and let it sit out for a day, plus your tap water will have enough soilds to feed them a little more.

just think, simple is better, and think of them as a plant, not a magical plant and all should go ok, they might grow slow for a while as right now there stunted, but don't throw them yet. good luck
