CoCo Nute Help

Been having great results with H3ad's modified locus formula ( 6 ml/gal GH micro and 9 ml/gal GH bloom). I would keep it simple in coco, the medium really does most of the work for you.

Botanicare's CNS-17 line is also really well priced and made specifically with coco in mind, have seen great success with both.

In the end, keep it simple. Pretty much any nutrients will work in coco, will you be hand watering, dtw, recirculating?

Keep it green :rasta:

Thanks for the reply.

H3ad's modified locus formula seems like a good option, been looking into CNS-17 seems to get rave reviews from coco growers, and as you said it is really well priced.

I definetly want to keep it as simple as possible, both are good options.

Are any of the gh, or Botanicare additives reccomended?

It's more or less a micro grow, so hand watering makes the most sense for me at this time.

One thing I would get is Cal-Mag Plus. Do you plan on using well, tap, or RO water? If your tap/well is good you may not need Cal-Mag plus. I needed it and my well water is at ~100 ppm.

I've had great success with Flora Nova. It's a 1 part and super concentrated. Some strains need extra cal/mag. They'll tell you quickly it they do with upward curled leaf edges and rust spots. Koolbloom also works well and adds on the weight and density big time.

I'm not one for a whole lot of additives, but I have been interested in possibly adding some Koolbloom into H3ad's modified lucas formula.

Do you use the liquid or the dry, and you mentioned you definitely have noticeable results?

I'm running a very similar nute regimen to rez's. I Supplemented his choice of liquid koolbloom 0-10-10 for the 0-5-6 ionic boost I had on hand, and instead of his florilicious I use pure blends original formula.

All is going great so far, but because of my wells relatively pure water at 22ppm I to needed to add a lil cal-mag supplementation come flower. I just started bumping the 22ppm well water with 2.5ml of robotussin, oh I mean cal-mag plus per gallon for a starting point closer to 150ppm, and my cal-mag issues are now turning for the better.

Imo, good ole GH flora nutes is the simplest/cheapest, period. Results in coco are on par with any other brand 'nutes used. Straight tap, you wont even need cal/mag. Simple and VERY effective.
Some well respected folks in this forum grow some amazing trees with GH flora series. Wouldnt steer you wrong my man.
Peace, and good luck, Evl... :joint:

Yes, definitely noticable. I'm skeptical of all additives and this one came through. I used the liquid at 5 ml /per gallon from week 4 to the flush.
