Anyone ever make bubble hash with bags using a solvent? and some ice cubes? Thought just crossed my mind.

*reason being thc is not soluble in water. if it were...well...it wouldnt make sense.
i doubt your bags are warrantied against this also, as they certainly will get sticky and clogged at best, to disaster at worst. as an aside, its a fucking sin, and bm does not endorse oil in the least. im positive he will not refund u. i wouldnt either and i advocate honey oil....
thats about it. im all for honey and all for bubble. but use yer noggin lol sounds like ya never made bubble but when u do, if ever, aside from not tryin to reinvent the wheel with a cinderblock, simply mix the bubble, unpressed, with golden honey oil or fine-screened kief, and make yerself some "jellyhash" both soma and msm have teks on how to do it. aint rocket science, however! the bags would melt. have you ever put gas in a Styrofoam cup try it before you make a mistake.
using alchohol i doubt the space-age poly that the bags are made with would physically melt. don't quote me on that, however, rubbing alch is stored/purchased in plastic (HDPE, to be exact--aka high-density polyethylene) containers, and Bubblebags (tm) are made from a synthetic fiber similiar to HDPE from what i can gether
it's the fact the viscous substance the isopropyl becomes after contact with the herb (oils, fats, resins, all kinds of stuff) is so gunky and drys so fast itd for sure destroy thebags and require immediate steam cleaning with a good chance for permanent damage. just not a good idea. no real reason anyway. if u want a high-volume extraction tek for oil, pm me, id be glad to help. other then that, try a french press. its said to be, altho i personally cant find one! , a god-sent for those doin liquid honey extractions at home

Hey ethereal, how exactly would one use a French Press to make Honey oil? I own a few of them as I am a bit of a coffee fanatic, but have never thought of or heard of them being used for sovent extractions...
It is a bit late and I am a bit stoned, so perhaps Im just not thinking very well right now
Any tips would be great...Im very new to solvents as I have stuck purely to my BubbleBags for all my trim/popcorn nugs.

You put the weed to be extracted inside, take the plunger/press out of the lid then use the hole in the lid to put the butane in leave for a while then strain through a coffee filter into pyrex dish et voila bho. i use 99% iso to wash my bags for the last 4 years an lo and behold they still look as good as the day i purchased them. I wouldnt try to do the bubble hash process with solvent that would be a huge FLAMMABLE mess. thats what QWISO or BHO is for. I got the method for cleaning my bags from the local tshirt guy.
