Cheapest place to buy CFL's?

I can't find the spectrum rating, nor whether it's cool, warm, daylight on any of the cfl's around here. Suggestions from where and what to get out of town?

Home De Pot usually has a good selection of CFLs.

Depending on your setup, you'll need more/less lights.

This is what I'm currently using:

(4x) "Soft White" Spiral CFL (42w) (Flower) (2700k)
(4x) "Daylight" Spiral CFL (23w) (Vegetative) (6500k)

I went to Home Depot for some items and found that the CFL selection is poor and expensive, but they still have soil out for sale unlike Walmart. Walmart is into Christmas and was unable to find any garden supplies.

the 42 watt soft white cfls at home dePot where im at are like 10 bucks each. Im going to check wally world for some of these $.99 cfl's.

Not sure about the 42's, but they'll have 23's in 4 packs for about 6 bucks. Look for a green box in the lighting/electrical department.

I had a hard time finding the watt & color combinations that I was looking for locally. I had to go through 1000bulbs.com and they are pretty good...almost every size and shape of cfl.

Another vote here for 1000bulbs.com. My local big box stores carry 23 and 42W CFLs in either 2700 or 6500K, at ~$4 each for the 23W and $13 for the 42W, but no sizes in between.

1000bulbs has literally, like 1000 different CFLs available. I was able to get exactly the size I wanted. They ship out of Texas so your bulbs are never more than 4 days away.
