Too me there are the Indica lemon's, which are hashy, musky, rubberry sort of lemon. And the sativa lemons, which are sharp, citrus, and tropical fruity.
In an ideal world I would grow hundreds of of these lemon Afghans and lemon sativa's (usually Colombians/Mexicans) on a farm (somewhere hot) and select the most lemon pheno's to cross.
What would I call it, Lemon?
Pic's of Lemon Afghan and Colombian (Not 100% it is Colombian tho, possibly Thai?)

i have read that jack Harrie has a lemon pheno. i have a pack o jock horror.nirvana copy.

Jacks cleaner from Subcool was like a fresh squezed lemon .
My current fav. is my 88 Afghan 1, strong Lemon Hash flavor.
There are Many differnt Citron flavors in many diff.Cannabis varieties.

The best lemon I've encountered this far and have access to is a moroccan pure trichome hash (PUK-brand), anda few phenotypes of Kryptonite Seeds Og Kush BX (BX project of OGK SFV/Swerve-cut and an IBL Ghani-Kush, is what I think it is...)
Good luck hunting lemons... (There is nice citrus flavors to be had in a few hazy lines too. (Nevilles, Super Silver, and I've had a haze type of Colombian f2 from annaC Seeds too.)

Regarding citrus flavor and bouquet there is a peculiar observation made by DJ Short during his search for complex flavors that I would like to mention. He believe the bland and generic indoor growing environment has been favoring certain aromatic tendencies/phenotypes to come out, and mention in his book that buds grown under 1000w hps and especially the ones closest to the bulbs often get a more lemony/citrus-dominant taste and odor. (In essence he say the indoor grow scene make a very generic habitat for cannabis and coupled with selection the more complex earthy, floral and red fruits and berry flavors may have suffered because of it.) From this I gather that a real good testing routine and good focus on finding the true potential of your strain is alpha and omega.
-A good load of the terpenes and flavonoids responsible for them woody and floral tones have high value in aromatherapy, and DJ also find them to be associated with what he mean is "kind" bud with a good head.

Satori from mandala seeds is very lemony smelling and tasting,with a hint of incense.
I would have to say sour diesel and Jacks cleaner 2

very very lemon taste and just by the overall aspect of that particular plant I would have never
chosen that one for a keeper
...Lucky i smoked them all ...ehehe
this was the lemon pheno
just for curiosity...if i had keep any of that skunk just by the looks and taste it would have been this pheno... (not lemon taste)

i've had an NL#5xHaze pheno in the past that smelled strongly on candy lime, but it also had a strong pine flavour in the mix, loved that combination of flavours - lime + pine,
in the jars the aroma was exactly like those lime flavoured hard boiled sweets that have the chocolate in the middle, lime + chocolate aroma in the jars, lime + pine flavour, really good pheno

And where does one find this strain?
I hear there is a "lemon pheno" for some of kc brains strains... I believe kc33 and leda uno have this pheno. Lemon skunk also might be a good candidate.
De shaman/sjamaan (which one is it?) also has a lemon-smelling strain. I'm not sure if any of these have the lime flavor, though.
