Anyone notice how well a seaweed extract, and an alfalfa tea would work together. i just researched both and they seem like a must have for tons of reasons! I never knew seaweed improved soil structure. jus google them if you havent researched already, the properties they carry are amazing!
Heres some interesting facts i did not know...

Alfalfa has the most powerful plant growth hormone TRICANTANOL.
It also has proven to create larger flowers.

Seaweed improves soil structure and chelates the elements it carries.
It also helps the plant produce chloryphyll. (especially when applied as foliar spray)
Accelerates root development.
Contains, carbs, auxins, hormones, cytokinins, and indoles.
Has properties (pgr's) that make the plant more pest resistant.

Both have symbiotic relationships with the microbial life in the rhizosphere.
Both also have an array of hormones, vitamins, and minerals.
Both help plants live in extreme cold temps!

I apologize if this info is here already. Does anybody have experience with using these together? If so, did you get noticeable results?

Well yeah there are many many posts.

I like to have two kinds of kelp on hand.. Bull and algamin.

In my opinion they work slightly different in my rig so I believe bull is best for veg and algamin is safer during stretch.

Oh man has there ever been a book written on using liquid kelp.

Watch it when going from > 12 hr to 12 hr ie veg to flower.

Am I right Jay? Been a while giving advice..

do you mean not to use it in early flower? or the opposite?

I use algimin carefully during early flowering.

It works for my setup.

I don't know if I have any pictures of my setup on this site but it's a "planter bed" type setup

all plants share a soil box.

If you are not sure then avoid it for a while before you switch and a bit after.

It will pay to research this. Excessive stretch can occur with liquid kelp as I remember.

anyway Bull kelp and algimin are two liquids I know about a little.
I like bull for veg and algimin for flowering.
I will use algimin on seedlings over bull.

It's just my choice to do things that was. I don't know if it makes any difference in reality.

Seaweed and Plant Growth by TL Senn is a great book if you want to read more about seaweed. The most common type of seaweed used in ascopyllum nodosum that has been cold pressed for the extraction method.

We use organic alfalfa meal in our compost to increase microbial activity. I think most people are already using these ingredients, but if not I would also heartily recommend it.
