do clones stress while waiting for roots??

i have some clones that are in a bubbler system and they have taken almost 1 1/2 weeks to finally start to root good. while they are waiting to root, the clones bottom leaves started yellowing good, and the main leaves curled inward, while still staying green, they shriveled up, but now i have roots!!!

should this stress possibly effect my plant as its budding down the road? or could this extended stress maybe cause it to turn herm?

i plan on getting a few in soil tomorrow. does anyone have any experience with this?

first question how big are your roots ????? if their even half and inch thats awsome ive never used the bubbler cloner but i just use rockwool and it takes about 14 days to have something going inside the rockwool . BLAH anyway

id grab some rapid rooters they are really easy or rockwool i <3 grodan

get nutes that help prepair the cuttings before they are even cut. LOL by the way you should trim / cut part of leaves off that arnt really on top because that would stress the plant to have more demand while it doesnt have roots...

being a cutting, the cutting must heal and try to survive until it is able to regrow it's complete structure (this is why its lower leaves turn yellow as it eats itself to stay alive until roots are formed). avoiding stress is ideal in all stages and too much stress could have lasting effects on a plant. generally the eraly stages of development are the ones you don't want to mess up. althought a stable flowering environment is just as critical I guess. so, Yes, cutting a plant induces great stress, but you can do your best to limit that stress with various methods.

im sure they are stressed, i think the clones look the most stressed when the roots are just popping 0-1 inch roots, but then i add nutes to my aero cloner and they perk up in a few days. i dont advise this cause it can cause problems, but i veg in my aero cloner so i gotta let the plants start to eat.

ok, well this is my first cloning ever. looks like in a day or two every single clone will live. even the clones i took from my budding plants. they had been budding fo about six weeks too when i took them just hoping to preserve the bagseed plants i had.

if i get a 100% success rate i will definately have to say that the "Raft Rooter" system is worth every penny
