I wouldn`t waste any time in getting ahold of some Avid, Azatrol, or Floramite first thing....

Azatrol for me also killed all those damn fungus gnats also....

i have plants in all stages of flower

i am thinking to neem my moms for now
i have not seen them in veg, but the veg cab is side by side with flower

order NPS, but i do not plan to use it untill after i flower all my gals out
scrub and clean the cabs, then take new cuts and go from there

is this a wise course of action ?
any suggestions are welcome

Your hands are pretty much tied, if you're in late flower. I mist the undersides of the leaves every day or two, but then again, I don't have powdery mildew problems. Some people have had success vacuuming the leaves. Beneficial bugs can also help.

Those pinprick yellow spots that you can see in your last pic are what I use to recognize a mite infestation. If you can catch them at that point, before they start spinning webs, they are easier to deal with.

Oh man, well on the positive side you have given us one of the best pictures of spider mites i have seen. webs, eggs, mites... yuck.

If you can, take the plants out side and hose em down. be really rough, you will lose branches.
let em dry out, blast em with some high powered stuff like floramite.
then hose em down in another week and repeat.

you are facing a fierce enemy, my friends. hopefully you can get more clones from a clean source.

best of luck

guys i have had them for a few months now actually
Weedninja thats how i knew i had them as well
Those pinprick yellow spots
but never having bugs before i chalked it up to the fungus gnats i have as well

last night i pulled all my gals out from the cab, and swept it out real good
scrubbed the walls and floor with some mild bleach and soap

then i manually checked each leaf on each plant (18)
crushed what eggs/mites i did find - and i only seen about 3 more real small webbing i tossed those leaves

i have monteray garden insect spray with spinosad, so i applied that to all gals @ around one month flower
blasted the leaves real good and hard up close (tore some leaves)
-the booklet says it works to prevent and get rid of spider mites if caught before the webbing starts - i hope it works still
used water on the leaves of the older plants

this morning i powered my exaust fan down, and hung a NPS up
and i plan to treat my moms with AVID
does this seem like a good course of action ?and is there anything else i could/should do ??
thanks for the help so far guys :respect:

Wiping the leafs with 2 wet soapy spongies,1 either side of the leaf works pretty well at removing adults, immature mites and eggs and sucking them up with a vaccuum cleaner work well at sucking the adults up to.

Sounds good, BB. NPS's didn't do shit for fungus gnats for me. I used mosquito dunks and they are doing the trick. You just put one in your water bucket. I heard someone recommend putting an open cup of beer in your room and the adult gnats get drunk and drown.

Good luck with the borg.

Hey brother bear, i use spectracide from home depot. the concentrated version. try not to get it on the buds. Apply 3 times in a week period, Wait 14-21 days to harvest foliar spray water on leaves to wash off. Good luck man

Weedninja- Beer gets gnats drunk? lol There is a product called Gnatrol, it is a lavacide made of bacteria. I use it instead of Azartrol. I dont get the nasty greasiness Azartrol leaves behind. Sweet stuff.

Yeah, I saw it in Southwind's post in the Growers Forums. Gnatrol and mosquito dunks have the same ingredient, Bti.

Just interested

How did you get the mites? Did you accept any clones from someone? One thing I NEVER do is take any cuts from anyone PERIOD...I've handed many out, but never take any in

One more question...Dirt or hydro grower?

The reason I ask is it seems most people who have bug infestations are usually either soil growers or they're getting cuts from peeps and get the bugs that way

I've grown almost exclusively hydro and haven't seen one single bug in my grow area EVER in 2 1/2 years +...IMO if your a soil grower its only a matter of time before your gonna have to deal with some type of bug problem...Better load up on the pestisides you soil growers...Sooner or later the nasty bugs are gonna do this to yea :spank:

If you meant ladybugs, they don't do much. They eat their full, but always leave some behind. Good option considering its late into flowering tho.

Good rule of thumb! But if you gotta...
Always dip clones in miticide before moving them into the flowering room. especially if you don't know the cuttings before you get them. Careful not to get too :joint: and buy multicide instead.
