sorry bbing, bad day back there.

Anyway, GA was made by Kyle. I have the cut that was given out locally here in norcal, and I love it. however, i am a purple pot hater, and will only run the best of the best. Once dialed in, GA rocks. I will get more info if you really want it.

thx ithruxix, we all gotta be able to take our licks when deserved too :spank:

someone asked me why I was such a stoner on another thread where I had just asked an answered question :bashhead:

TO ALL; i'd rather get it out there for discussion and risk having it wrong.
even if it means i :fsu: sometines.

we should probably bring a thread together to get more of the truth in one place. GA deserves I would say. :joint:

no offense to anyone here but it almost makes my head hurt how such a common strain like gdp is so mystified and how its not perfectly clear that GDP=Purple Erkle fem x Salmon Creek Big Bud male
No this isn't the same as grape ape. To be honest, no one really knows the specific lineage of Grape Ape. While it is simular in color and some aromas are simular, anyone whos smoked gdp and grape ape properly organically grown will tell you THEY ARE NOT RELATED. Of course they probably share the common California Afghani ancestor somewhere along the line, but so do half the strains that are packed into my bowl. GDP and ERKEL simular? Hell yea. some can't even tell the difference. Erkel is almost always a slightly harsher smoke that has a much more intense immediate stone, whereas GDP is usually more smooth and tasty, but seems to be slightly less potent/long lasting high. Grape Ape tastes a lot different. I actually like it more. The high is even less intense, but more soothing (if that makes any sense) If you ask me, Grape Ape takes it. I've grown both Erkel and GDP and while they produce top-shelf buds, they are pathetic producers and veg slower than anything I've ever seen. GDP was supposedly bred to yield, but its just PATHETIC when it hits the scale. Those are the only two plants I've ever yielded less than an ounce with. :rasta:

i use lumateks (600), and it makes the buds rocks. Hard as piss, if piss could be hard. The bud formation just rocks, way better than most purples. Sickly sweet musty grape smells jump from a squeezed bud. Sometimes really sweet musty smell early in the AM.
