what's in the "dr bud mix" and how much? and yes... if you're using r/o water you should supplement with cal-mag

how close to the lights are your plants? do the top leaves curl and twist as well as get brow/burnt? look like too close to the light.

1 tablespoon 5-1-1 fish emulsions 4 dropperfulls shultz 10-15-10 per gallon of water. Many in the micro section use it with great results

not light burn this isnt heat related the burnt leaves pictured are not the top the top set of leaves look fine new growth looks fine.

funny thing is only my clones reacted this way I also have a few that are 12/12 from seed fed the same mix at the same time and they show no problems........ even the mother of the clones has been getting this mix and she is healthy as can be, all in the same soil fed from the same container. :bashhead: i am so confused by this

if it isn't light burn, then i vote for a calmag deficency... it's interesting that clones are showing this and not seed plants... the fact that the mother of the clones is not showing this and they are makes me lean toward the calmag, as plants begin to use increased quantities of both in flower

I was leaning more toward that also, going to try and cut my mix using 50% r/o water and 50% tap and see if that fixes it. I am also going to try and use dynagro bloom, with tap on a few and see which works out best.

anyone else agree with the cal/mag def over nute burn?

I see that your picture shows some leaves with 1 & 3 blades on this clone.
Is this from starting your clone into 12/12 when they are newly rooted?
I read in another thread that this can cause hermies, have you had trouble with this?
I am just trying to learn as much as possible even though my plans are for an ODG.
Thanks bro & Keep It Green!

yes it is straight 12/12 when rooted, and they have 1,3 and even a rare 4 bladed leaf never had a hermie with the clones.

back on to the prob took some more pics today

leaves that fell off

overall the plants dont look bad except these leaves

anymore input??????

i take the calmag back, which definitely is not the major issue going on here... i think that they may be severely lacking phosphorous...

The edges all around the leaves or half of the leaves can be brownish and work its way inwards a bit causing the part of the leaves to curl up in the air a bit. Fan leaves will show dark greenish/purplish and yellowish tones along with a dullish blue color to them. Sometimes the stems can be red, along with red petioles that can happen when having a Phosphorus deficiency. This isn’t a sure sure sign of you having one though, but can be a sign. Some strains just show the red petioles and stems from its genes.
So pretty much the overall dark green color with a purple, red, or blue tint to the fan leaves is a good sign of a Phosphorus deficiency.

did some more reading it seems rather its cal/mag or P switching to dynagroo bloom with tap water should fix it.......question though I flushed them thinking it was burn so they dont NEED to be watered, should I water them anyway with the hew hutes so if it is one of the above mentioned deficinecies i can start correcting it????
