I just found out that Obama took the election. (I don't watch TV, listen to broadcast radio or read any "Media" garbage. Due to a slip up I also wasn't registered this year *Gah*!)

Obama has a new website that just went up and there's a feedback form where they're taking suggestions from the people on how to fix the mess this country is in.

I'm looking to put in my $0.02 worth.

The form DOES require an e-mail address and first name last name zipcode info. (par for the course)

If anyone has any ideas along this line I'd be much interested.

Though Obama talked about leniency towards medical patients I don't recall seeing anything that was more than lip-service, vague campaign B.S.

Sure hope it's not.

I submitted this comment to Obama:

I'm a documented example of marijuana being able to reverse type 2 diabetes.

I've been arrested twice now.

The first time I was arrested for collecting petition signatures for proposal #1 in Michigan.

The second time was about a month later for growing my medicine.

I'm being forced by the federal government to have diabetes.

Please help. We voted for you in the hope that you would be the one to fix this.

There is a list of issues with checkmarks. There is no option for marijuana.

There is a box to enter "other issue" in which I simply put in "marijuana."

Let's hit that site hard! Stuff the inbox with the word "marijuana."

SC you Rock! Love the "Day One" attitude. I'd really like to see an amnesty of some sorts.

Umm... what can I say? I'm on the internet at least 12 hours a day but I've stricken media garbage from my diet years ago.

Thanks for pushing for us in Michigan and here's hoping everything changes for the better for us.


The only issues that matter (for the checkboxes) are Civil Rights, Family, Ethics and Education.

All of the other issues are screwed up because of those core building blocks.

It's time to put the policies of the nation back on track.

(Tired of the majority of the population consisting of people just waiting around to die with no motivation for anything in life except eating and sleeping.)

You know what's right. Pass it on and do the right thing.

I've bookmarked the URL. I intend to be a "big pest" over there! I will gripe about cannabis being illegal every day until (1) the raids on dispensaries/MMJ users STOP! (2) Obama reins in the DEA, or better yet, abolishes it. (3) All of the states are given the chance to vote on MMJ.

"Why are we the ONLY industrial nation that does not allow hemp? Every hemp product that is purchased in the US is imported! From Dr. Bronner's hemp soap, to hemp seeds for snacks, to clothing, to bio-fuels, to oil and animal feed- every bit of hemp we use is foreign grown! Not one single legal hemp-nut is American grown! WHY?

Hemp is easy to grow, needs little in the way of fertilizers or pesticides and can produce multiple crops from one planting (fiber, seed for feed or oil, and CBD for medical uses). It is useful in crop rotation.

One source I read claimed that the levies in Mississippi were once stable because they were covered in wild hemp. The DEA wiped it out and the levies failed. Whether this is true or not, millions of tax dollars are wasted on the futile attempt to wipe out feral hemp- that won't even get you high! The war on cannabis MUST stop! It is a total waste of my tax dollars!

Why must we keep acceding to the wishes of a long dead timber baron, and prevent hemp from being a new and profitable crop for America's farmers?"

I have also read that Bill Richardson is being considered for secretary of state. He is Pro-MMJ, and I would think anything urging the Obama administration to pick Richardson would help also.
