Hey there, all

I'm thatguy, and I've been here for a minute, but haven't done an ID thread yet. So I'll give you a little background.

I started growing ID in Feb this year, in anticipation of doing a guerrilla grow. I wanted to sex and take clones, and had no intention of flowering ID. But once I realized I was but a light bulb away from a harvest, I went for it!

And now I'm hooked! Inside and out.

So after that 1st grow, I took clones from a Hindu Kush x White Widow, and did a small SOG.

Now I've expanded my flowering area to 2 400W Lumatek ballasts with HiLux bulbs. I also have a 125W bloom CFL that I will use vertically.

For veg I have a 250W Lumatek, and another 125W CFL.

I use coco/perlite, 60/40, with GH Rare Earth and Diamond Black amended in. I use the GH Flora nutes and Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus, along with Floralicous Grow/Bloom, Diamond Nectar, Hygrozyme, Flora Nectar (sugars & a flavor additive), and GH Kool Bloom liquid & dry.

I also am trying a Mychorrizae product called Earth Ambrosia & Earth Nectar. It's a 2 part liquid. I've heard great things, and at least so far it seems as if my seedlings are growing faster than any beans I've ever popped.

So now let me get to showing you what things look like.

Here's the flowering area. I'd call it a room, but my attic is such a fucked up shape, I had to make a room out of poly.

My (obviously) not completed drain table.

My finished table, complete with seedlings & clones!

The lineup is: more HKxWW, Roadkill Skunk, Grandaddy Purple x Legend's Ultimate Indica, Breeder Brad's Lemon Godzilla, Sensi Star x Skunk #1, Skunk Chunk from Guyute54 (thanks, man, if you still come around!!!)(Deep Chunk x Sensi Skunk), Sam the Sunkman's OG Haze x Skunk #1, Afghani from bagseed, and another 1 Afghani F2 from a friend, Frisian Dew, and Dirty Harry.
As you can see, I got an air cooled hood, and just picked up the other one yesterday. Now to set it up soon!

And here you can see how I set up my fan and filter. I wanted to keep the air circulating through my home, where before I vented straight outside. My place is too small to keep pulling in all that cold ass air! Not to mention my landlord keeps the heat low, since he pays for it.

I'm planning on setting up my flowering CFL here as well. As you can see, I was smoking ;)

And the clones in my veg area. DP Strawberry Cough and Super Skunk. I only have the 125 CFL in there right now, gotta set up the 250 REAL soon. Like within the next hour or so.

So I think I've covered everything for now. Now for me to go set up that 250 and check on my babies!!!

All the best,
TG

So I set up the 250 not too long after finishing the last post off, and gave things a couple of hours to see what the temp and RH would be.

88 degrees and 46%!!! So I frantically tried to figure out what the hell happened. I have a (supposedly) 80 CFM fan venting the closet into the flowering area. The closet is only roughly 80 CF, so WTF? It got kind of warm yesterday, and the roof is right above there, so I know that affected it. My friend has a 6" 160 CFM fan I'm gonna grab from him. That should do the damn trick!

So after fixing things, I did a little uppotting, and took some more pics. Now things are starting to look a little more exciting!

Conditions yesterday evening.

The seedlings, 2 days after the previous pics.

A blueberry x WW I saved from a friend who apparently forgot what the hell he was doing, as he did fine 2 months ago!

The clones. Most are SC's and 1 SS.

And this is the 1 rooted SS.

A SC and the still rooting SS's.

All the best,
TG

Hello all, thanks for the kind words!

Hey there, Soulfly! I aim to please! (myself and That Girl, mainly...LOL) Yeah, things are back to "normal", and I'm back for the winter... what promises to be one of the most interesting I've had in a long time!

Thanks, Prof! I wanted an avatar that showed I'm a metalhead, and also fit my name! Nice avvy yourself! Love that damn movie!!! BTW, I've seen you around some of the same threads as I, and it's nice to talk to you in person! Glad to have you man, gotta stop by your thread soon.

Marshmello, pass that! I haven't had BG in a long time!!! Glad to have you too, man!
So That Girl and I just finished doing a shitload of transplanting, and we're nowhere near done! All but 3 of the clones have rooted, all 3 Super Skunk. I want to say somewhere near 50 out of the 60 beans I popped have grown nicely.

On a strange side note, I popped 11 Sensi Star x Skunk #1, and got 2 twins! Since I germed them in paper towels, I managed to separate them. 1 came up all retarded, and hasn't grown since, but the other one is just a little small. I'd have pics, but I'm just too fuckin worn out!

I'll have to finish the transplanting tomorrow by myself, as the woman will be starting a new job. When I'm done, I'll post more pics, and one specifically of the twin.

All the best,
TG

Art, that makes 2 of us!!! Once I'm done with this transplanting (tomorrow) I gotta get ahold of you, man! I'll have plenty of free time again!

Oh yeah, Soulfly, that's her. The one and only. She's finally getting more involved, so it only makes sense that she made it here!

I imagine things will get more interesting for you in CA! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do!

All the best,

AS long as I get to hit it I'm happy!

I listen to very little old school death metal any more. I listen to a lot of newer bands, some of them from Mass. Unearth, All that Remanins, Diecast, The Red Chord, Darkest Hour Bleeding Through, Mastodon, and of course Lamb of God.

I also love the good old school shit... Slayer, Sepultura, Machine Head, Pantera, Exodus, and the like.

I've loved the fact that I've seen so many metalheads here! Around here, it's very rare to see a metalhead who gives a shit what quality the pot they smoke is. To see so many here from new england really surprised me! Now I just gotta meet some of you bastards!!!

Gotta go finish transplanting. Finished most yesterday, but once again my back started hurting like a fucker. I PROMISE an update by the end of the day.

All the best,
TG

So I've finally finished transplanting everything. Takes a lot longer than I remembered!

I need a place where I can set up a work station! My back is hating this shit.

But I can't help but love how they're growing! I was planting pretty much all of the seedlings into 6 1/2" pots...but then I ran out. So I used 5 1/2" pots, and I'm going to have to uppot them again.

I put an Afghani into an 8" pot, because I'm pretty damn sure it's an S1, so (I hope) it's a guaranteed mother (for now). The 1 HKxWW seedling out of 3 that survived is a little behind, so I'm going to wait another day or 2 before uppoting that one.

There's a couple of SS clones there too. Real runts.

Here's a SS cut I put into an 8" to become a mother.

The 2 strawberry cough cuts I'm turning into moms.

The plants in the 6 1/2" pots are seedlings; the cups are SS cuts.

The SC moms on the left; center top is 4 SC I'll throw into flower once they've gotten another 2 weeks to veg; SS mom in middle; seedlings on right and bottom. Keg cups are still rooting SS cuts.

I forgot to take a pic of the surviving sensi star x skunk #1 twin, and I forgot to even mention the SS x SK#1 that really WAS a freakazoid! (sorry I forgot to comment back to you on that, hazy) It came up with 2 main growth shoots!

This post will serve as a reminder for me to take pics of them!

All the best,
TG

Looking good my friend. I am truly looking forward to a time when I can get mothers running and providing clones for a SOG style.

What did you end up pulling on your last grow - in ounces I mean?

Around 12 ozs.

It's more work to do this than I'd like, but I'm sure it'll make up for itself once I start harvesting every couple weeks or so!

All the best,
TG
