Horrible Illness!!!

Currently into my fourth season of growing. Have had minor problems with my plants until recently. This is a pic of my three babes when i put them into flowering. In this photo they are in their first week and looking good.

These are pictures of the same plants after the second week going into the third week of flowering.

I use FoxFarm ocean forest soil mix.
These were started from seed and were in vegetative for about 2 months.
I use General Hydroponics liquid nutrients which i feed into the soil via water.
The temps for my room is at the lowest 71 degrees and at the highest 81.
The pH of each plant, with nutrients in the water, is between 5.9 - 6.4.
I water the plants once a day or every other day and every other watering i add 1/8 the recommended dosage of nutrients.

I have no idea what is going on with these plants. It started out gradually from the base of the plants and worked its up through the lower leaves and is finally getting to the top leaves.

The vegetative growth seemed to come to a complete stop when i first noticed signs of the leaves dieing at an unusual rate.

This same thing happened to the crop i had before this one except those plants were into their last few weeks of flowering when they stopped growing and dried up and died while in the soil. The bud from these plants was horrible smoke that burned your lungs and tasted like mold. The stems from base to about 2 feet up the plant was coated in a white coating that would crack and flake off to the touch.

try raising the ph to about a 6.9-7. That looks like how my plants were for a couple weeks before I adjusted the ph to a 6.9-7.

I see a few problems going on.... first can you get a close up of the leaves in the middle to upper part of the plant i can't see the problem to well, but I will say why are you watering every day to every other day? You need to transplant your plants cause that is getting crowded.

If your plant is rootbound and is in flowering chances are high they will not finish and become stunted and stop growing. They have no were to go and they need water everyday if they wilt cause they need water everyday your plants are rootbound.

Since your using soil you need to test the pH after you water your plants, ther water that comes out the bottom of the pots you collect that and test the pH.

Your not feeding your plants enough for one, way too early for your plants to be yellowing and showing nitrogen deficiency.

You need to beef up your feeding and just feed every 5 to 7 days..... what is the dosage it lists to use on the back of your nutes?

Your plants are very stretchy too, they were not kept close to the light when growing in veg.

How close do you have your light now? You want the plants to be even with each other, you will need to prop up the little one that is not as big as the rest.

What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot)
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?)
What Nutrient's are you using?How much of each with how much water? How Often? *Knowing the brand is very helpful*
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used?
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"?
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen?
How often are you watering?
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding?
What size bulb are you using?
What is the distance to the canopy?
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity)
What is the canopy temperature?
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range)
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)
Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist?
Is your water HARD or SOFT?
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water?
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched?
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when?
Are plant's infected with pest's?

These plants are toast. take clones form any healthy growth left and root em. Prob is/was to small pots, overwatering, under feeding and powder mildew.

I have a mom that looks like this.

It's been kept in the same SMALL pot for a LONG time in a Rubbermaid veg box without the greatest airflow. Often times not getting fed nutes, just plain water. White powdery mildew was found on other plants close to it.

The thing is, my whole plant looks like the bottom of thread starters'. Is it too late to take a clone? Transplant?

Art, in my experience, if the whole plant looks like that, it's gone. If you can find a growth tip that's less than say...50% damaged and it's an easy to clone strain, you may be able to get one.

You can boost your airflow to your moms' cabinet with a bathroom fart fan. $11 bucks and the thing's already wired.

I think you could save it, if you don't have any flowering plants left to put into flowering I don't see them as a waste as when plants get that big they are very strong even in this stage and can come back from a lot of issues......

If you have other plants that go into flowering you can remove these and start with the new, but if you don't then it would be a waste to not to try to fix them.....
