so just being stoned and thinking i got to thinking of the "demon" weed. the evangeicals would like you to believe that the sacred herb is a tool of lucifer to distract man. well if god made the herb for man as the most effective pwerful natural medicine, from what we know about satan would it really be unlike him to claim the sacred plant for himself? so in my stoner logic full circle here to say weed is fom the devil is to promote the devil.

Lucifer is not the same as Satan. Marijuana is the world's most unique natural medicine, that much I know. However, I do not wonder about marijuana being kept as Lucifer's sacred plant. Marijuana criminalization started when Hemp was announced as the world's most abundant and useful herb. I believe criminalization of marijuana exists because top tier corporation's [cotton, lumber, etc] at the time feared profit loss / collapse / less distribution ["globalization" less likely, locals grow Hemp very easy]. If there are any plants or drugs which Lucifer would like to keep away from the general populace, it is, without a doubt, psychedelics. Lucifer would not want you to take the easy route of seeing through all culture's dehumanizing bullshit, hence the use of psychedelics is considered taboo by most of modern culture - This would be Lucifer's sinister influence - Right?

I think it's important to discuss God and cannabis because it's often the evangelicals/religious-right who lead the fight against legalization. An argument against demonization of cannabis, as I see it, is relatively easy, and I believe that the prohibition of cannabis is the true work of Satin.

I hope the following makes sense. It was clearer in my head last night.

If you believe God is love, created all things, and is in control of everything, then you must agree God created cannabis (and everything else in the world) out of love. If you agree God created cannabis out of love, then you must agree God created it for a beneficial purpose. If you believe God created Cannabis for a beneficial purpose you must believe that He wants us (the recipients of His love) to benefit from it's use.

The short version...

God is love.
God created cannabis.
Cannabis is a product of God's love.
To prohibit the use of cannabis is to reject God's love.
Rejecting God's love is evil.

Some might argue that Satin uses cannabis to blind us or otherwise distract us from discovering his evil plans. This MIGHT be true for other drugs such as heroin, crack, etc..., but those drugs are man-made from otherwise very useful God-made plants.

Let the flame war begin.

I'll chime in on this one.

I agree with the logic of Danger Mouse, there is no leap of faith required to believe that cannabis is good. The empirical evidence supports this position. I have two friends that are "true believers" and they both partake in the herb.

That being said, I am gonna get freaky on you guys now.

Ever heard of the Mark (spelling may be wrong)? Anyway both my people have told me that this is going to function as a world-wide currency. No more dollars, euros, rupees etc.

They also both told me that Obama may be the man to bring about the Rapture. Watch out if he suffers a "grievous wound to the head and survives". If that should happen, we may all want to think about converting.

It sounds like religion may be fucking-up your head more than the weed.

Why ruin a good buzz with all of that rubbish? Mystical Gods and Fairy Tales.

I also have a firm belief in God, but not really sure what that God is. I can't really wrap my mind around the concept of an all powerful "being," but I believe something intelligent and positive is at work in the universe. I also believe evil is real and not as random as it appears. Beyond that, I'm merely taking a blind leap-of-faith. I agree with you maryj about the Bible.

I am a Christian and I think some of you should learn to live and let live. Why is bigotry not acceptable to some people and is to others? I understand that some evangelicals are against MJ, but many liberal Christians do believe that Canabis is a good thing. Some of you should reconsider your beliefs seeded in bigotry.
