Use to go camping in Big Sur a lot during the 90's. Although it was a long time ago, your Grape looks vaguely familiar to a strain they called Grape in Big Sur. Legend has it that the Big Sur Holy Weed was originally a mexican strain, maybe there is a possibility that the Grape I would see in Big Sur was also a Mexican variety and even possibly a distant cousin of yours^^

I remember it was more like a fine wine then weed. My buddy loved it so much he stashed some of it, and would pull it out on occasion for the next couple years. Very light in weight, grapey smell and taste, very divine.

Use to get some good Kiber in Big Sur also, I actually have alot of Old School Big Sur genetics in seed form, but they are all mixed together after a lot of wild breeding by my dready friend.

Had to chime in, GL with your battle, and nice pics and strain.

Its great to know there still some of us old farts still around, very few of the younger growers even know what Micheocan is, I remember it well from growing up in AZ. in the late 70's . What we were getting was some nice long buds that werent compressed. a very light green color and a great high, as someone else said the seeds were huge. wish I had saved all those seeds, lol.
