White Powder?

It's on the stem of my Romulan x Mikado clone that I got at a club. The two mendo madness and the purple urkle clone I got at the same club are not showing the thing. Nor are the Master Kush or safari mix female mothers...

Is it powdery mildew? What do I do...Thanks -

could be.... what is your RH at? was the powder there when you got the clone or after you brought it home?

You have good ventilation in your grow room?

DOn't know my RH.....Building the whole things as I go along....The mother/clone room doesn't have any ventilation ATM, 3wx3tx5w and two 2-bulb floro fixtures....

Didn't have it when I brought it home, just saw it for the first time this morning...

If you did not have it when you brought it home, chances are 2 things how you got it.. you have spores in your grow area or home.

2 the clones had spores on them but did not activate until certain conditions were met.

Your growroom design is going to go into disaster if you do not get ventalation and a de humidifier.... possible de humidifer......


All the items you have listed is growing conditions for molds and fungus.
Your grow room should always have fresh air coming in and bad air going out depending on how your setup is....
You have a picture of your grow room?

You need to find out what your RH is, you can get a RH meter from a hardware store for cheap, some have nodes for indoors and outdoors so you can find out what is going on inside your growroom and on the outside.

you don't want mold dude, if so if it spreads your whole grow room and anything in it will have to be washed down with mild bleach water solution.

Thanks man... I'll install the fans I have tomorrow... It's quite a lot of work, just hadn't gotten to the point of installing fans in the clone / mom portion of the space.... Once ventilation is installed, is there anything I should do? Like get rid of that plant??? It looks to be a nice strain, but I'll kill it the rest would be better off....Thanks - A.Fool

Get some neem oil or a mixture of 1 part milk to 2 parts water and spray it with that. Neem oil will rid of it, but if the spores are in your grow room you have to clean your room up, if that is even what is wrong with your plant though.....

As long as you prevent it from growing by giving it warm temps high humidity or cool temps depending on which it is; they won't form until certain conditions are met.

So I'm pretty sure the space didn't have the spores to begin with....Everything is fresh sheet rock covered with 6 mil plastic....

Now, the clones, the Mik x Rom, the Mendo Madness, and the Urkle, all came from the same grower at the club.

The Master Kush and Safari Mix mom's were brought in from outside as I was just sexing some seeds while building my room.

Neither outdoor plants show anything. It's only the Mik x rom.... My concern is that if one grower produced these clones, should I spray them all with that milk solution?

What happens if I hit em with both neem and the milk spray? Thanks mang!

Oh, forgot to mention, bad air is now being extracted, passive intake hole cut.... This is just for the Mom/clone room. The flowering room is going to be ventilated with 6 inch ducting, ect... Thanks again, A. Fool

Cool, sounds like you are getting the preventative measures done. One is good to use, you don't have to use 2!

Also I forgot to mention, some strains are more resistant to molds/fungus some show more quicker and some don't get it at all.
