Is my flowering tea enough?

I

I just finished up my first organic grow, I was just wondering if my tea is good enough. My buds were nice and really frosty, but then didnt really well up like I was expecting, I dont know if this was genetic, environmental or had something to to with my nutes. I used FFOF soil with added worm castings, and a few tbls of indonesian bat guano. My flowering tea consisted of 1-3 tbls of EWC, 1 tbls molasses, 1 capful maxicrop liquid sea weed 0.1-0-1, and 3 tbls indonesian bat guano 0.5-12-0.2 to 1 gallon of water that I let sit for 24-48hrs. My next grow will be MNS SSH so I'd really like to get a good tea going before I run those expensive seeds.

I have found that FFOF needs to be lightened up some with perlite or sunshine mix, light warrior or whatever you favorite flavor is.

did you just let the tea "sit" or did you have an airstone bubbling it or anything?

Iron Lion, like you stated there are alot of factors to contend with within your question..

I can tell you this for certain. Your environment is the foundation for everything to work well, at least in my opinion. A good environment, one that can be altered is like the farmer that has a perfect year in terms of climate and rainfall. His yields are good and it is a year that all other years can be compared to... Indoors we have the luxuxry to create this perfect season all the time so why not do it.

Next I would have to say that finding a medium you like to work with is next.... FFof I always felt needs more perlite, and if u want some coco. Stick with the medium of your choice for a while so you can learn how to dial it in. Some hate on FFOF, I dont like theri price or the quality either but it can work and some love it, so if you like it stick with it for a bit and get it to work for you.

As far as your teas go I would say this, less is more.... I made the mistake when I first found out about teas to over apply, I still had a hydro head and figured more is better. With organics it is not the case. I can actually say that the less I feed and the less I wonder about what a plant needs ( by experience with the genetic in a controlled environment) the smoother things go, and the better my yields, taste and potency are. Less is without a doubt more... Teas should be given to the plants at most every other watering... I have found that a good medium amended correctly with nutrients in the soil, can have as little 4 teas applied during the entire cycle from veg to flower. The results have thus far, far out "weighed" my overdone runs....

To answer your question directly I would also say that 1 tblsp of molasses per 1 gallon is too much. I have had better results as it seems most here have to, to use more like 1 tsp per gallon...

Good luck mayng.

Hey guys thanks for the replies, forgot to mention the FFOF is lightened with about 20% more perlite. I'll try cutting down the molasses. I was stumped on this grow because the plants grew so beautifully, not a single sign of deficiency or a yellowed leaf until it was time for the leach.
