Got a great deal today.....

Picked this up at a flea market,its a Spartan Luminaire 250 w metal halide.
The best part for $20.00 with the bulb.It says "not for use in dwellings".Anybody have one of these? Its 120v and has the regular plug..

I huess just make a diy wing i suppose for vegging.Is this a mh or a cmh? I don't know anything about them

That's a standard MH light. They're called "HighBay"

Yes, what one Q said. Highbay warehouse light. The first thing you should do is to remote the ballast - extend the wires running from the socket to the ballast body. Those highbays run very hot and hum a bit.
