how to wire 6 600 digis

Hello! Does anyone know how 6 600 digital ballasts need to be wired? Can 2 light be ran on 1 say 20 amp cirucuit with just a standard heavy duty appliance timer? Or does something fancier NEED to be used?

6x 600w = 3600w divide this by 110 (voltage) you get 32.72... this is how much amperes it's going to pull.

That means it will not work on a single 20 amp circuit. I would do 3x 15 amp breakers to have some room to put other stuff like pumps and fans.

Divide your room and use a flip box for flowering. That way you can get away with the 20 amp line. You can also save money since you only need 3 ballasts (the money saved will pay for the flip box).

Oh..and running only three lights at a time will make cooling the room easier.

How long will you veg for?

BlindDate is right a flip box is the way to go, it will be easier on the heat and will save in electrical hardware... plus, you can use only 3 ballasts to run 6 lights.
