The most relaxing, calming strain? Narcotic/opoid euphoria? What do you think?

I've got 2 grows under my belt now, one outdoor, one indoor.

So far I've grown harvested and now tried hashberry, satori, mandala #1, safari mix, big bang, and that's about it.

None of them really jumped out at me with that calming relaxing effect. I'm looking for something where after a few solid hits, you just feel that wave wash over your body and calm you down. The heavy euphoria that just straps you to the couch on the most peaceful cloud nine ride.

The calming relaxing euphoric effects are the most important, period.

I'm looking for these qualities in spades. Yield, grow difficulty, and cost are all second to the high.

So what should be on my short list for the be all end all of these effects?

I find FLO to be calming, Master Kush is relaxing too.

Green crack is quite narcotic.

C99 is euphoric.

I think a nice hybrid will suit you best.

I like the way you describe that high, it's what a good indica does for me.
Some of the Afghan strains I have grown give me this very nice effect,
It is the perfect movie weed it's kind of trippy but not in your face like some strains. Unfortunately I've almost of run out of those seeds.

I would suggest looking into Mazar I Sharrif (real seeds company)
As in my experience landrace indica's give a more pleasant sensual experience that isn't too heavy or "narcotic".

Also of importance when looking for these "pure" high, whether it be a soaring clear sativa high or whatever -
Is the way the herb is grown, it's not all about the genetics - well in a way it is - But the environment for the most part will determine how a plant expresses those genetics.
I find growing plants outdoors in as much sunlight as they can get will allow them to best express themselves.

Some nice body Indicas can be Pine Tar Kush, Black Domina, G-13 x Hashplant (Mr. Nice). First get the kief off the bud with a fine strainer, this is the most of the initial wave you speak of which can be smoked in a bong hit or so. Then, a few hours after that you can get the rougher material left over to roll into a joint, initially vaporizing 1st half, and then having the resinous stone for the second calming sleepy half later.

If it is relaxing, and calming effects you are after, try to get a strain with as much indica in it as possible. Indica's are known for their calming, euphoric, relaxing characteristics in the stone they produce. So, just avoid sativa's or any sativa- leaning hybrids and you should be fine. After that it's really just a matter of how certain strains react with your personal body chemistry.

hey 1love... though i havnt tried it myself i have been reaserching along a similar topic.... and it seems that sadhu fits that bill to a "T" none is currently available but should be in a few months. I know I definately want in when it arrives! Djshorts strains also fall into this category such as his blueberry and possibly his grapekrush. but search sadhu and I think youll have found what your looking for. i think some people associate relaxed with a heavy feeling that consumes you, rather than a releasing sense of clarity. I prefer the latter. also romulan would be a good candidate. Purple urkle is this and for a more strapped to the couch vs euphoric grand daddy purple. The urkles high is better imo. I also think that white rhino is very relaxing unwinding.

Grew Northern Lights X Shiva this year outdoor. Started sampling popcorn Oct 9 and finished harvesting 7 girls Oct 20. About 41 N, Midwest USA. Only 13 dried oz from them.

I have NO patience for many things, like traffic. Besides the shit eatin' grin I wear, I remain calm. Can cope with family and remain silent. Not easy for a hothead pothead!!

My recommendation. Can do couchlock after 2 bowls for me.

I usually have @20 different strains jarred up and use them as suited. Just ran out of sensi star and hope the medman i'm growing will fill that void a bit. Sensi Star was my stress relief smoke. Very strong up (mind only), euphoric, relaxing and the dosage i used was commonly night ender. Sweet dreams!

I know it's not available to purchase, but I find JLP's SDxOG cross extremely relaxing with that nice "wave" you talk about. It slows you waaay down but doesn't make your mind cloudy. I think you'd have to get an OG pheno for this effect.
