If smell isnt an issue buds should be able to be hung from string in spare room for 3-5 days. Its a large room 11 x 12. Just a ceiling fan. What do say am i good? This is the first time iv had this luxury so thats why I am asking. Also should i ad a floor fan in the room?

Hi Moses,

Smell is always an issue! haha j.k wish it weren't tho. good for you moses!

Hang them in that room, make sure its dark as light and heat degrade the psychoactive chemicals! try to keep the temp between 70-75, and relative humidity around 40-45 if possible. everyone has their perfect temps and humidity, just my .02

as for a floor fan in the room, you want constant circulation in the room, but not direct airflow to the buds. point the fan at a wall or in a way where it will stir the air up, but not directly flow on the buds. don't go strictly by the amount of time (days), go by when they are dry. sometimes it takes 3-5 days, sometimes longer. enjoy!

remember to care for the dried buds for a week or two after drying. they will continue to sweat (release moisture) if left in a closed container. get a few glass mason jars if possible, or something similar. every day air the buds and gently mix them up to release that sweat so you don't get moldie mc mold.

enjoy

Agreed, don't direct the fans right at the buds, put the ceiling fan on reverse to push air to the outsides of the room.
Make sure humidity is also in check, the room should be max 50% humidity to dry without worries, to avoid mold keep the buds as seperated as you can along that line, I like dental floss as it is very tough.

If your drying in 3-5 days, I'd leave the fan out. The faster the dry, the hotter the smoke.

Hi, Smell isn't an issue for me either. Unless you are somewhere with high humidity I won't use the fan. I like to hang mine in either the closet or our guest bathroom which is windowless so that there is no light and I also will have some charcoal bags for aquariums in with them to help absorb some of the moisture.
