sweet afghani delicious greenhouse plant.

I am partially harvesting her due to beginning bud mould.

This way i won't lose too much , she has mostly milky trichs and a few clear ones , nothing amber yet :badday:

Damn, mold seems to ruin the fun a lot. I rather have heat stress than to have humidity/mold problems. But the flowers still look tasty and potent. Great grow! How much do you usually yield from the greenhouse? Or do you not even bother with trying to weigh it all lol.

Nederzaad 2007 , hard buds with a sativa structure

She looks ripe to m , but the trichs say they aren't i got half clear half milky trichs

GroteFoto-GNL8XLNT.jpg

Nederzaad 2005

Pure indica , i test smoked a bud that i quick dried on my modem in 2 days.

Even though she doesn't look ripe(60% brown hairs , 50/50 milky /clear trichs) shez almready blew me away with a heavy stone , i am thinking of harvesting her already cuz i like the effect.

Sometimes when i harvest my weed later the effect gets less stoned and more lazy

GroteFoto-KMPPDU66.jpg

Nederzaad 2007 , i already harvested the big buds. Half of the plant will be allowed to reach full maturity(milky trichs with a bit of amber)

She looked ripe bud some of the litle buds still had a bit to go

What do u guys think?

you don't got those in scratch and sniff do you ? jeje awesome, mouth watering grow indeed. I plan to build a greenhouse with an exceptionaly high cieling jeje as its just too easy to hit the roof here too. Do you just have pasive air vents or is there an active extractor or blower ? Its very necesary here to fight molds as humidity range is a 100% most the yr. A combination actualy of active and pasives. Very nice grow, jeje tied them down to hide them from the neighbors too jeje nice one.

Thx

Well i blow 1000 kubic meters of air into my greenhosue each hour with a torin fan(google torin). I also use 2 oscillating fans to keep the air moving and to mix it constan, tly.

Then i also have 2 ventilation windows which open and close with a thermostat.

I blow in the air especially for the extra CO2 during the day.

But seriously , where u live do u really have 100% ALL yuear round????.

If u really have 100% humidity these measures are nopt going to help u a lot. I mean here it's also humid , especially at night.

But 100% is catastrpohical..

In such a casse i would just buy an air dehumidifier and a gas stove.

A friend of mine grew white widow in his greenhouse this way and was able to harvest mouldles , which is almost impossible here in belgium. Bu for the plants a constant air circulation is important.

Just smoke a joint outside and watch the smoke. The smoke a joint in your grezenhouse and watch the smoke. U should try to mimic the outdoor conditions as much as possible

good luck with building ur GH

I live in Costa Rica....one of the worlds last rain forests. We have conserved almost 30% of this country green so far, and it will rain not inches but what seems to be meters a yr. We have several dif micro climates tropical dry, humid, cloud but the all end in forest. I live in the Tropical rain/cloud forest...some times you can barely see due to the thick fog and it will rain more then most can imagine. Rains are from may to november. (sep-nov the worst part) winds come in in dec, and summer is Jan -april. Summer is awesome, winter...well need lots of help from diferent organic preventive sprays, lots of air circulation and need too trim alot along under your plants for good air flow, and keep a ceiling far above for more air flow untop where its realy needed.

we have 12hr days and nights all yr and along the 10*north its magical here with all this nature...but growing some good herb in your yard can be a bitch, indoors its easy but its too expensive, I prefer the greenhouse but you spend alot of time problem solving. My greenhouse is humble, it was something I put together for a temp need...and has stayed several yrs jeje but with it i've learn'd alot of how I don't want things too be...and how I wish they could be.

Thanks for take'n your time to answer my questions.
My thread is called Tropical Growing...jeje I think, feel free to check it out, might not see such a great structure jeje but can't judge a book by its cover right ? jeje

hmmm i can't find your topic , do you have a link??

And in the summer isn't it dry then? if u have 12/12 all year long can't u time ur grow so that u can flower in the drier summer period??

sure man, link is
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=25174&page=1

yeah thats our dry season, I started many seeds already so that they sex now and i'll fill in any wholes by dry season so sit and watch them flower, its my favorit grow of the yr jejee but as I have family and laws that be I can't grow enought for the whole yr...not too mention i'm a serious Marijuana addict and lover...so I'll be foreced to have plants around all yr jeje and too keep me nice and high.

So my grows during the wet season are my tuff months where I normaly only will grow sativas, hybirds here and there...but no indicas. This drives me nuts as rain season is longer than dry season it seems and nobody likes an emtpy greenhouse or even worse an empty jar of green happines. If im lucky I normaly get about 3 harvests a yr. Small ones...but enough to keep me nice and high.

Harvest is progressing.

I cut my power plant and my nederzaad2007 completely and i cut mostly of the n2005.

It has been flowering since 25 august. 10 weeks already .

I already harvezsted the big buds due to beginning of mould(not much luckily)

The secondary layer , i have harvested today.

The third layer of buds will be harvested tomorrow
Nederzaad 2005 A fat mostly indica plant 8-10 weeks flowering from the Nederzaad company.

Nederzaad means netherseeds or better said , seeds from the Netherlands(Amsterdam)

Sadly the owner has died and i hope they will reopen their site soon.

The nederzaad strains are all strains made from the genetics of the old 1980's positronic seed collection.

Positronics was the first growshop ever. So the base of the nederzaad strains are all other strain which have been untouched since the 80-90's.

Therefore they give that good stone that lots of strains are missing today.
(in my opninion)

The Nederzaad 2005 is one of the strongest smokes i ever has , not a day timer. It has a herby sweet smell and makes fat frosty buds

Here is a pic from the year 2006

Foto-8F8PLKS4.jpg

Foto-SQPMX43P.jpg

It's my favorite strain

I harvested her 1 november 2006. But this year(2008) i didn't bother to cover my greenhosue fro the streetlights at night. The consequence is that all plants are taking much longer to finish

Bud i harvested 5 days later(and that i have cut badly too many leaves

:bashhead: It looks okay but i think the one from the year 2006 looked much more yummy , but hey i havent smoked this one yet so maybe it will be as strong as the one from 2006

Yeah that n2005 really is fire , it's a real stoner weed , only for strong indica lovers , sativa lovers won't like it though as it impairs proper functioning during the day

img0799to3.jpg

Pure Power Plant. Perfectly ripe , i have to hurry to cut her cuz amber trichs are beginning to show.

I only lost 5 buds or so due to mould(of an entire bush)

Nederzaad 2005*2006 again has , just like last year big buds(for outdoors greenhouse) and i didn't find any mold on the biggest cola.

I still habve to cut the rest of the plant down

This strain is , after nederzaad 2005 , my favorite cuz of the yield and effect+taste

Nederzaad 2005*2006 nr 2

What is left of the nederzaad 2005 , i am gonna harvest the little ones after i harvest the other plants

img07755489295qe9.jpg

Small third layer nederzaad 2005 bud

img07785533091od3.jpg

Nederzaad 2006(Nederzaad 2005* positronics citral) with some smoke from my joint

As you see she doesn't have anything on her left side , cuz there she touched the nederzaad 2005 so she didn't have any light there.

img07825597511ud2.jpg

Nederzaad 2006 nice and frosty

img07805564016bg7.jpg

Nederzaad VIII , still has some time to go , she has small cola's but tyhe individual buds are big hard and frosty

Sadly she was the smallest plant so all the other plants took light away from her during flowering)

img07815584960kk8.jpg

Nederzaad VIII

img07945852042cq1.jpg

Power plant that flowered 4 weeks outdoors and that is finishing indoors

She has been atttacked by spider mites and those natural predators don't work good , but i refuse to use chemicals .

img08126115306ku0.jpg

Only 4 plants left in the greenhouse and then some small buds from the other plants

img08146152942oa0.jpg

One of the small buds that are left on the PPP , i will also harvest the really small buds after i finish the other plants

Hey bro, sorry to keep bug 'n man but been want'n to ask fe dis for a while now. Seen your roof, is that plastic or Glass....was think'n if plastic it could warp and eventualy let water in....or get toasted under the sun in a few grows and need be chang'n...but fit be glass, it would have an exp intital cost...but last a life time unless...jeje you through stones in a glass house, like Peter Tosh said. But if it was glass, how much weight could that add up too be? you'd need a seriously well built frame work.

I've seen a special translucent plastic here used alot in hotels and lots of places that difuse the light so awesome and its not conugrated, its flat, thick and even seems like a double pannel type thing...well looks awesome, but sure could costa prety penny but could weight half that of the glass...and take a accidental ball toss from my kids.

Sorry man, just been try'n to put materials and ideas together, and get a move on this dream to come true.

LOl you're not bugging me , that's what a forum is for.

My GH has a steel frame and the rest is all glass.

On top i have glass that is not clear/transluscent , this to avoid burn.

I bought it second hand for 1800 euros
