lolz slow ur roll fellas :joint:

i was droolin over the automatik but was worried about the "vortex of doom" as animal put it. with that high price tag i didn't want to risk it. not like i could return it all covered in goop and be like "dis ting sux" lol - at the time i wasn't even aware of the different sized grates or that you could operate the automatik without the addon casing - nice.

nobody's patients like popcorn but at prices we get these days fuck 'em. maybe some of you are lucky but i don't get more for it sans popcorn - or not enough to remove said corn :p

What's up Koskesh. If you have a trim box with the original grate it has 7/16th" holes...My patients will not accept medicine with pop corn mixed in because it does 'em no good. "Fuck 'em" is the attitude that will have my patients goin else where for their meds!

i love mine and i am sure you will love the trimpro. i like having options. i like not having to deal with trimming pop corn and i like not tossing the popcorn out. out of the entire harvest i would say i have about 2 or 3 oz. that i used the so called "vortex of doom" it actually makes the popcorn shit look like littel balls of dankness, great for personal, joints, cooking, etc. for buds that foxtail the smaller grates will definatley provide a benefit when not using the addon. the automatic has a much more powerful suction and 4 blades. i did my research here from others whom have used the automatic, the smaller grates and I ran both of them in the shop before i made my decision. either one will save you considerable time and back pain.

I love how none of the owners mention it's like a fuckin helicoper taking off in your room when using one of these things

Do you use one to trim up your 400W cabby?

My barn when it's running sounds like a UFO about to take off from the out side!!

lol no....Im "involved" in the industry and have used a variety of them from the hedge hog to the trip pros.....so fuckin loud its unreal....whats the point of having a stealth cab if for 3 hours I get 10 noise violations LOL....anyway they do a damn good job and for someone out in the "field" they are perfect

What's up Greyskull nice to meet you. What can I say besides...I work with herb a lot so I have little tolerance for readin' shit like the above or someone say "Oh yea I got 750g/600w I mean over 800 I mean exactly 810!!""

When my Trim Pro gets here on Tuesday I'll shoot some photos of it. Like I said I know its impossible to get a bag quality trim from one so i'm not trying to do that,

I'm trying to just use the machine to take off all my fan leaves and secondary leaves and help me to get my whole room down and hanging so I can worry about taking care of other things and Just go over the buds as I cut them in to the bag.

Last time it took about 150 combined man hours to trim my crop and I can't be having that again especially since this time there's more bud mass in there!

I hear you with the trim time. I only run 2 4x4's/2k, and even though its small potatoes its still a lot of work.
I do a preharvest treatment where I manuall remove all the fand and secondaries and let the trimbox do the rest... sometimes I'll go over the buds again with the fiskars. Generally, like you said. Works great. Saves time. Allows me to worry about cleaning out the tables and other fun maintenence chores.

I wish I could go through every stalk in my room and take the fan leaves and secondaries by hand...But then again thats why I just gave up $1600 to canada..so it becomes a possiblity!

It doesn't matter if you have 2kW or 200kW the way you run what you've got and conduct yourself is all that matters. 2kW can still push out 5 pounds per crop which is not a small amount of weed even if you're producing hundreds of pounds per year. Keep doing what you're doing Greyskull!

Everyone on you tube is trimming the weed wet. I harvest, remove large fan leaves, hang to dry completely, and then get busy w/ the scissors. Any reason you shouldn't run dry buds over the trimmer? I think I see a workstation in my near future.

As far as noise goes its not quiet but its not to bad. If you have your trim area shut down its no louder than runnning a high power shop vac. My flower room hums like a mother fucker all the time with all the AC, in lines fans and exhaust ports. Just another thought on the larger sloted table tops. You definately have to do some hand manipulations to the buds when using the machine requiring your fingures to get very close if not frequently touching the grate. Just be careful to watch your fingers. this machine would take a finger tip right off.

dusty you order a trimpro workstation or a regular trimpro with the 7/16th grill you keep mentioning?

G

Greyskull

imo if you're gonna use a trimming machine use it when the buds are still wet.

lol dude don't use it on dry buds! and yeah it's loud, but like resin said the ambient noise is just as loud - if you're using this you've prob got a lot of shit to trim, it's not for closets. as for digits lol you're supposed to use mail gloves but i don't.

tossing popcorn is for suckers :joint:

What's up I think I've mentioned a few times that I purchased an original trim pro. I ordered it with the Original Large grill the one with the 7/16 slots all going the same way.

I am planning on lowering the blade a bit so I can just use the trim pro as a leafing machine.

Of course its going to mangle your buds if you're using your hands pressing the bud against the grate and rolling it around on its surface with your hands.
