I think RR plugs, the ones that look like little conical chocolate brownies, not the sponge ones, are the best cloning medium around.
Plastic domes and prop trays are a standard size and parts are interchangeable amongst various manufacturers.

Here's the trick: The insert trays- LOSE THEM. They trap moisture, create an environment that favors fungal growth, and prevent oxygen getting to where you want roots to be. Instead, take the RR plug, flip it upside down, and cut a slit in the BOTTOM with an xacto knife- stick the stem in this- the holes the RRs are punched with from the factory are too large for cannabis, and, treated this way, the plug will stand up fine on its own, allowing for great air flow! Don't overcrowd your cuttings under the dome; I find that 18-25 cuttings in a 12x24 prop setup is a comfortable fit.

local hydro shops carry propogation heat mats for seedlings approx 20$ i use mine every winter. only reason i suggest this is because you allready have a method of cloning which works for ya. me i've tried several methods RRplugs perlite direct into soil, what gives me 99-100% sucess is a DYI bubbler. the RH domes fit the RR 50 site tray theres a few choices a solid cover and 1 that has 2 places on top. which allows you to control the RH in the dome by keepn them closed or all open or partly open.

man I have tried all the cloning plugs, perlite, whathave you. nothing works as good for me as stright coco in a tupper ware pan, on a heat mat. I buy two pans and use one for a dome, usally take the dome off within two days and have roots within 7 days. just dig around them and pull up gently and right into a beer cup with coco and they just keep growing, coco rules for me.

I'm a Rockwool, no dome kinda' guy. I'll second (or third) the idea of heat. I got nowhere until I maintained a 75º-80º temp range.

Weird I got like 80% success on my first go at cloning and my temps dropped into the 60s at night usually never over 75 though I was using a dome so that traps in more heat.

I'll second stinky's response

Her cloning guide over at cann.com helped me tremendously. RR's work great just don't use the factory hole :joint:
