I have found that today many strains seem great for the first week or two but soon putter out. This of course is when we start looking for other strains to get over a blase high. This is good as variety, is as they say "the spice of life" but sometimes those of us who search hard enough and long enough or perhaps those whose fates are favored stumble upon a true queen of all queens that uber fraulein that you will smoke till the day you die and have been smoking on for years. What is you "bottom dollar bitch" that you can pimp out over and over and still delivers the high you seek -- over and over? What is that one plant you can't do without and has delivered for a long time? If shes got a name, introduce us to her. How does she grow -- how does she smoke -- where does she take you? People give smoke reports after a couple days of smoking a strain... give a smoke report after a couple years. I hope this inspires the thirst to search for great specimens in others as well as myself. Oh yea show us a picture of your lovely lady and tell us all her dirty lil' secrets.

Well where do I start man..... I have two that really spin my head arround,
Due to:
Raw Beauty
Flavor
Aroma
and a lovely high, they will yield if you give them enough time and train them right
Most of the time for me I notice that the best usually don't yield much in a regular test run, but Dank for sure, Right! Well after falling in love with it I then run it as a whole (at least) square meter and give it more attention, as far as : training, following how she feeds, and adjusting to her desires,
I then end up seeing that she does give a yield, maybe not a huge yield but a good enough yield to make it worth a square meter..

She grows very stocky and short, kinda like Bubba Kush
Smells like a lemony sizzly funky sour, but maybe hashy undertones...
Needs a Good monthe of Veg or more, and I luke to top her and bind her and some times even Supercrop her....
She has huge leaves even under a 400 watt bulb, under the 1000's they are outrageously hugemongus....
She is Clone only as far as I know, and well worth the grow, and needs that extra Nitrogen to keep her going long and green
IM Experiences She is ready to be cut down at 55 days, But i have seen an increase in weight if I let her go 65 days with a good flush from a 10% amber trich and on, ie I start flushing when I see 10% of the trichs amber colored

I love this plant an I will never let her go,
she helps me with my knee pains and also brightens up my day as soon as I exhale the first hit, and Boooooooommm off I go to happy planet, i get everything done and it lasts me 3-4 hours sometimes longer, B U T if you stay in your chair after smoking her You probably won't get up for a few hours....

I call it HIPPE
She's dank she yields good with ease, not huge just good, tastes like a Green apple with some skunky hashy sour to it that I can't put my finger on

It was given to me by an old hippe dude out in the Forbestown area....
So there for I call her hippe, I'm not sure but i think he had it for a while now I think like since the Erly 90's or late 80's
He gave it to me a while back, I'm not very good with my memory so I vant say ecxactly how long i have had it...

She takes 65 - 70 days to finish and cover's up nicely with trichs by like week 4 and stinks like an apple cranberry juice drink at first ( I'm not very good at gescribing Flavors and Aromas but I do my best.....
I haven't grown her for a while so I don't have many pics but I am down to my last zip so I will be taking cuttings soon for my next run so i'll have more soon
She's a shorty also and she is strong enough to hold her own colas and needs about 4-6 weeks to veg out a good multi-topped bush, and it is worth the wait, Good amounts of Seabird guano, and bat guano, Earthworm Castings are always well used and they love it, as much as you can give her she will take......
So here she is, I really wish I had a male of this shit man boy would I love it.




This is the only pic that i have of her, I haven't grown her for about 1 year and a half, and back then I didn't take many pics of my plants...
but b=now that i am here I will always have to take pics, so I can share my experiences with all of you beautiful people........

it just depends on how prominant the taste actualy is.......it is usaly conected to the level of stink the dry buds give off

the problem with sh1t pheno`s is they have a low or dull taste....

put it in the jar and come back to it 3 weeks after croping.....if it stinks...and smells nice.... its good

picking a stinker is not too hard.....try Krypto or Rez...or Mr Nice...many peeps finding stinkers in them seeds

No - I liked your post Bandit - and I totally agree with C21 about finding something truly special.

To be honest, most strains i've grown myself have ultimately been a disappointment on one level or another. Usually, it's the high that just isn't what I'm looking for. And it takes some time before I stop kidding myself about this.

I haven't found perfection yet - but I've limited it down to strains which contain thai genetics. The inspiration and banishment of clinical depression that they provide is what I call a genuine miracle. And everyday I don't have my thai inspiration shot in the morning, is just another day that I know I'm not appreciating life as much as I should.

I'm still looking for my soul mate plant. But I'm interested what others have to say on the matter.

8 yrs now. Every year. The more sativa leaning the pheno in this mostly indica strain, the more the strain leaves all others in the dust. No equal.

Easy to grow. If grown in a pot indoors, never fertilize. If grown outdoors, tie the feedbag around her neck.

Indica phenos finish from 45 60 days or the first /second week of October outdoors
Hybrid or sativa pheno finishes from 10-14 weeks or Nov 5 outdoors..

There are 2 basic pheno's, a branchy shorter indica pheno which is potent and has a heavy stoned buzz. Its not unusual to see a number of different sub expressions of this pheno,they tend to get shorter, quicker finishing and the stone becomes heavier. This pheno is the most common and is 3/4 of the plants in the pack.





The Second pheno is what I call the hybrid or sativa pheno. (i wish I had a better pic), It tends to be taller and leans almost toward a single clola, finishes 2-3 weeks longer than the indica pheno and can be extremely potent. Far above the average potency available on the retail seed market. Examples of this pheno are about 1/4-1/3 of the plants in the pack. Depending upon the degree of expression, this pheno can take as much a 3 weeks longer than the indica pheno. These usually take 12 weeks of flower.





There is another expression of this plant that is very rare, about 1-100 to 1-200 plants. It is the plant in the picture. That plant was 8.5 weeks into flower when the pic was taken and needs another 3-4 weeks. It is gererally tall, 8' and branchy, but unlike the branchy pheno. It takes 12-14 weeks to finish and is unreal in potency and effect. For a 35yr heavy smoker? 4 tokes = sweating, panic and nausea. Initial euphoria is manic in effect and can be followed in 15 minutes by a tenuous relaxation. Couchlock is rare with this pheno.

do you grow from seed or clone? dont give up your search they are out there... no weed out there is perfect but there is weed perfect for you.

I only grow from seed and then keep mother plants of the good strains. I've got high hopes for my C99xGrapefruit and NepJam which should be ready in a few weeks - samples have been pretty sublime.

Don't worry - i'll never stop the search. I know she's out there - waiting for me to give her some green love. And when I find her, well, I'll still keep looking.

i just finished a grow of blue sonja. i had to harvest early because i moved but i have a couple phenos that are out of this world maybe try some of those beans and see what you can find. beans are my fav. cause you never know what you get till you smoke it.
