i dont under stand the first part of your last post - but the rest i think i can answer.
hash in eggshapes comes in many qualities. it is possible to make egg shapes with hash from 2nd sieve upwards. anyway not all batches are the same you know.
also a lot of people from spain, and rest of europe go to morocco to buy hash - make eggs and bring back home.
ages ago i used to see hash from india and afghanistan like that - but it was before i moved here to spain - here there is zero import from asia in question of hash - thats a shame...
in the almeria and andalucia region a lot of the hash on sale on the street is from people "bajando al moro" i.e going to morocco to swollow eggs. they dont usually buy the best grade because of profit interest.

hehe very dificult question 
i cant say there could be any posibility to generalize.. too much variety and too many different people wanting something that fits their economy. i think thats the main issue here.
most persons dont have too much dosh, and even if hash is cheap in comparison to other countries, the better qualities are expensive in relation to the cheaper.
rigth now its harvest season in spain . people are buzy smoking their own nugs for a while..

I've heard of FM bubble going for $30 a gram/$100 an eighth in South Florida. Glad its free in my house.

Very nice for £5 a g - that's the gram price on a kilo in the Netherlands for top quality, so your source is clearly a personal friend, and you're on a v.good number, lol

britsh - buds from outdoor grows are usually available in some extent at harvest time (october till november etc - after that most of it is bought up by ppl).
its not that easy allways to get hold of bud to buy since most people grow for personal use.
indoor i have bought for up to 5 euros a gram - but im sure even higher prices are possible. but an indoor bud market is not really that extent - how ever i bet there is some in each bigger town etc - you only have to know where. hash is on every corner.. but bud takes some effort some times.
outdoor buds i have bought from 1,5 a gram to 3 euro - where somewhere inbetween is a norm.
but how can i say ´- i can buy in autumn but most of the rest of the year there wont be any other buds than MY OWN.
a lot has to do with the fact the cops concentrate on bigger grows. some outdoor plantations that get busted are of legendary size.. 1000+ plants... whole lorries to to take the bud away and burn it.. sad stuff really...
but most ppl who got 3 plants in the backyard - they wont sell the bud unless it is off a quality they are not happy with.. so sometimes its not that cool..

Nice to see you and killer info. I think this whole thread is filled with some killer info. Great job to all. It sure has open my eyes to the whole scene in Spain. Wild, how bud is hard to find over hash, but I understand.
Can't wait to sample so local hash there this summer. Sure is going to be a nice vacation and so good times. Thanks for sharing all.

I dont pay for hash... I have many friends that make it and we trade...Cali has great hash... If you buy from med clubs, i have seen as high as $73 dollars a gram for bubble hash and $100 for budder or other cannibis concentrate dirivitives...The clubs are a ripoff, because if u know the right person, $10 a gram is the norm....maybe 20 a gram for some top of the line FMCD. You just have to know the right people. The buds are so good, that if you cant find hash, lotta time some killer indoor will do the trick. In norcal you will find better prices, in socal, more variety
Bonecarver OG is spot on about the Spanish scene.
All I would add is Soap or "Poo Bar" as it is affectionately known can go real real cheap if you are in the right place, right time. Many of the boat smugglers pay the beachfront loaders [from the boat to the 4x4] with Poo bars, but nobody [in their right minds] smokes that shit... so they sell it, but smugglers dont want to buy silly one-off bars [250g] here and there.. so they go cheap, E100 iirc.
Up the cast near Barcelona, hash is more expensive than down south [again, as BG_OG says] The best often goes for over E3/g and I have watched people make E3000/kg pollen into "[fake] Caramellas" ... eggs, often short 10g deals for E80. There are several different high grades around, personally I like the Blond oily soft one.
The real treat is the Moroccan "Paki black" .. an English guy went to Morocco 8 odd years ago with some Afghani genes, it comes over and fetches more than any other hash, for good reason. There are also people in Morocco teaching the Moroccans how to use Ice O Lators, we do not get to see this [commercially] in Spain as "nobody wants to pay for it here" ... so it goes to the 'dam, iirc a K of CCup winning Moroccan Ice Hash went for E12/g not too long ago.
Morocco is cracking down on hash production, year on year less land is used for growing and the Spanish Customs are getting way better at catching the boats and the people unloading/transporting. Much now goes through Portugal, not Spain, they ['rockies] are even risking 10x the sea journey and bringing it up to this end, yet still getting caught.
Quality bud is hard to sell for decent money, the Spanish all grow a few [almost always immature, partly due to ignorance, partly due to the thieving culture] plants and sell [if at all] for E1000 to E2500, persuading them to buy some weed 4x stronger for 2x the money is a real uphill struggle.

yeah man - most people dont realise how easy AND how profiteable the egg making industry is. and how easy it is to make - and how hard it is for an unknowing to tell the difference.
as i say - i never buy hash really in egg shapes - its too scetchy. i rather go for the goodies in the blocks. the blond oily ones hehe yep man u got it down. those u can smoke all day every day
i know about the icehash, the paki-moroc etc - most of it goes just rigth past us! its horrible to be here hehehe and know there is metric TONS going upwards to norway, denmark and adam.. the highest paying european countries..
the main reason is MONEY.
spain is a great country - but it has had a history of economical troubles. this affect a lot of things. As far as i know there used to BE NO market at all in the bud sector - BUt instead i have been told people used to give away shopping bags of nugs 10 years ago - today people want 5 euro a gram for the same nugs.
hehe about the spanish growing the main problem is not the thieves, SPAIN has a very scetchy autumn weather and most of the years the humidity, the "roskilla"(bud munching worms) and other bugs destroy a lot for the growers. also a big risk is the gypsy comunity - if they find u grow it is very possible they might just come and take it
my friends mom sat helpless watching a group of gypsiys get into her backyard and just chop down the plants her 2 sons were at work and the woman almost got a heart attack. its crap because some of those might stick a knife in you for a few busd worth!
So being quite, or growing indoors is the way to go - if you dont have a very secure spot although guerilla grows work better than i ever dared to beilieve!
but im not complaining - i am not here for the comercial scene. my basement and my connections keep me smoking nice things with time i will set up a greenhouse - and get completelly selfsuficient
