UK clone: Shaker/Five Times (Sensi Seeds 90's NL#5xHaze)

Is anyone currently growing or has grown this clone?, been trying to find info, pics etc for weeks n months now but no luck so far, it's a 90's NL#5xHaze pheno from Sensi Seedbank, if anyone can post up any pics or growing info that would make my day

hmmmmm

i used to get a nl#5xhaze back in the late 80's early 90's and it was some crazy weed.

i sometimes see people ive not seen for years and they always mention that stuff as the best they have ever smoked etc

if what i been told is true(and i have no reason to believe otherwise) someone that had somethin to do with UB40 used to come up to manchester to buy the whole crop, i was lucky as my mate knew the grower and lived in the same flats as him so we used to get the odd oz.

Now im sure these old boys are still growin, they were old back then, muyst be in their 50's-60's now, i have often though about that weed since startin growin and i know i have to get back in touch with them old boys to see if its still goin.

I wouldnt know a good lights/haze from a bad one so if i do get it ill be sure to bump this thread and tell ya what i ve got

kitchens shebeen in hulme was a good en

carnt remember the name of the 1 on great western street just round the corner from the bookies and robin hood pub(good places to score some weed quick)

the reno was another good place

and dont forget medlock court(the big highrise at the back of the precienct) floors 8 or 13 were the best, the 14th if the others were out, thats if you could get past joker and his crew at the bottom of the stairs and lifts ambushin every1 to buy his shit before you could get to the other guys.

Best place of all though was the midland pub in west didsbury, man i loved that place, great crowd of stoneheads just smokin weed and playin pool and listenin to tunes, lived in that place night and day for years, still miss it.

hope you know my head is gonna be twisted all night now tryin to remember the name of the shebeen on great western street, or was it broadfield road?, i forget, must be gettin old!!

Well if ya mum went down the midland from 85-93 then id prob know her, or she would of known all us little runts gettin smashed with all the old rastas and hippys

she was there in the late 70`s to early 80`s.....

it was all about oil an the rasta weed....mum says good Homegrow was imposible to find.....NL was defo not around....

pretty much all hash in them days with a little bit of import brick weed.

didnt see skunk till 87 then again in 89 when we could grab it from rusholm all the time.

about the same time was when the nlxhaze turned up

thinkin about it around the early 90's loads of very light coloured weed turned up, people were callin it alaskan, got a bit of a following, i thought it was crap tbh, no idea where that came from, would like to know though...

"brick weed" is what i call rasta weed...

ThaiStick was good in them days."so i hear"....i think it was mid 80`s dad started smoking oil alot....but he was smoking hash up untill then....he allways dissliked the rasta/brick stuff....

id love to get some old seeds from the ThaiStick

i bet some rastas in moss side was dealing with NL x haze in the 80`s .....i need to find them guys....i wonder if someone is still holding some old Sensi seeds or a mother from yester years ......maybe.....basic 5 or anythin as old as that

yeah i bet there's still alot of folk out there that have these old strains in the garden after all these years,
if i knew how to get in touch with my old mate he'd most likely be able to help find that old cutting of NL#5xHaze i mentioned in the other NL Thread,
for a while the same cutting was doing the rounds where i stay,
that was 1 of the rare times back then it was easy to get a good bit homegrown if you weren't growing,
it was very rare then tho as soapbar had the town on lockdown
makes me appreciate things like the Uk Cheese i'm puffin on just now even more

the reason why im crazy for good weed is my area was on SoapBar LOCKDOWN till the late 90`s...98 or something like that...

UK Cheese ..ie "propper Skunk"....is something my dad made me believe in.....still to this day everyone in my area is ok with SoapBar and the sprayed stuff....i had to dig deep to find/grow good weed.....most peeps i know dont even know tasty weed exists

hey HazeS...i bet everyone tasted that NLxHaze and thought it was skunk.....i bet it tasted like NL used too .....Back In The Day i hear NL tasted like SK1....apparently the Afgahn in the NL was similar to the Afgahn in the SK1......both had massive stink....

not like NL today....what is this LOW SMELL crap....what have they done to NL

HazeS you have not told us anything about the 5x "shaker clone" ...lol.....what dose it taste and look like ??.....how does it compare to Cheese ??

the reason i'm really interested in it is because of that old NL#5xHaze clone i was talking to you about last week, the 1 my mate used to grow,
the clone had been doing the rounds and he got it passed to him,
the smell was like a mixture of musk, spicy/pepper and leather,
tasted like this as well,
it was probably the 1st proper bit homegrown i'd smoked at that time,
and probably the reason i like NL#5xHaze so much

have you ever tasted THE BLUES or PSYCHO...peeps are sayin they are both NL types

the next best place to look is a pack of NL#5 x Haze.....F2 might show you a #5 dom pheno

don't think anyone has access to these 2 clones where i stay,
i'd love to see pics of the Blues,
don't think i've seen any pics of it on IC so far,
seen Doc's Psycho which looks sweet but so far not seen the Blues,
i'd like to see NL#5xHaze crossed with Jack Herer

2. see who mentioned the shaker/5 times in the first place.
3. pm them, see if you can pump them for info.
