10'x2-1/3' grow room

22.5 square feet total.

In your opinion, what is the best mixture of HPS lighting to fill this room? I was thinking either 3 600w (80w/sf) or 2 600w and 1 400w (71w/sf...though 2/3 of the canopy will still be 80w/sf).

Seems like 80w per square foot could be bad for the plants but I don't have experience with that kind of intensity so I don' know. Would I be better with 3 400w lights or should I go for at least 1 600w or the other options in the first paragraph?

My goal is to maximize yield.

Thoughts??

Is a mover automatically controlled? Sounds expensive if it is. Also, I'm not able to manually move the lights.

Maybe a 600w in between two 400w would work. I already own two 400w so all I'd need is a 600w and another 400w for a veg chamber.

Nah... $200 for a mover.. It just moves the light along a rail back and forth, pausing at the ends. Keeps all your stuff nice and even. You could even put 2 lights on one mover.

Google 'light rail 3.5'

:D
