we dont really have many strain names here....well there are some but weed is just weed....sure they are differnt strains ....but unlike other countrys our strains are not named or sold by names really.... old mother sativa is one that comes to mind that you could look up....

people are growing alot of bag seed and buying seed from places like seedbay...but still
dont tell what it is most of the time...i think once in like 20 years ive been told what i was smoking...

im sure some people will come up with more strain names....but as i said people just buy weed and are happy with that...to tell you the truth i think most smokers dont know that there are all these strains that us internet weed nerds know about and love.HH. =]-~

There were or more some lines here that had names like mangoheads queensland heads wich were brown and you had the mullumbimbi madness kondula blue and many more aussie lines that were named then you had the imported mj that was grown here like pan red acupulco gold culumbine red basicly south american asian hawiian african and many more lines that growers used the name for.

But most call out door sativas bush weed and now days any thing grown out is out doors in is hydro but most aussies use the 3 grade scale GOOD / Ok / SHIT lol.

Mullaway has bred quite a few strains down under, I have a couple of them, one is called Uluru, can't remember the other name. He also did a strain called Red Ron, there is an article by him in the Fall 2008 issue of Treating Yourself. Then there is good old Wallyduck, all his seeds are made in Oz, and there was a short-lived seed company called Koala Seeds.

Holaaa

Holaaa

Hola bocil,

que tal ????
I'm from France, currently in Australia, been there for 3 months..
Not a lot of local strains where i am, you find mostly strong dutch genetics grown in hydro... not the good time for bush (outdoor)...
Otherwise, as happyherb stated, they usually don't put any names on their herbs so it s quite hard to list them.

I suggest you check both of these posts:

In Aussie bred candy, you'll find a lot of information about local herb, you should find it really interesting !... I could sum it up for you but i'm pretty sure you'ld prefer to know every details !!!

And those are my smoke report from Aussie strains:

To get bush or in short out door grown sativas you need to know people as most younger smokers here are like most younger smokers any were in the world they want bag apeal and hydro.

Put a bag of well grown haze or thia or panama red in there face and then but a bag of indica and watch them take the indica every time.

I havent smoked any commercial in a long time last time i got an oz was 10 years ago or more and i only got it as i felt like a change it was some very nice looking mj would of been at home on the front cover of high times was rock hard had no leaf at all and the flowers looked impresive the smoke was complet shit body buzz that lasted 40 minets tops.

I was so imprest with it i gave it to a friend for free.

Commercial is just that most i belive is suplied by the asian and arab gangs the best comercial i think came from south australia but also many other states like nsw / ql even vic but lack of rain in the last years has seen lots stop growing out doors here also no water dry creeks and so on no.

The good aussie lines are grown by people for there personal use now days since hydro got big and most want hydro it killed a lot of the out door grows why well an oz of good hydro will go for $250 to $350 depends on who you know were bush grown will go for much less now.

Australia has many lines that cant be found in amsterdam to find them you need to know people you cant expect to find them from commercial growers as there more about getting a good quolity crop out as fast as possible and as many times as they can in a year that will have the best bag apeal not haveing a plant growing for almost a year you will ponly find personal growers doing that.

A lot may not have a name to there lines but bet most can tell you were the lines from.

Hola amigo,

yo hablo espanol un poquito, puedo comprender pero no escribir...
Check ur pms mate :)

Thank you for the precisions dailyhempy, i'm definitely looking into some bush weed but it s quite hard to find these times, especially in nsw... I ll try not to leave australia without smoking some great bush, for sure, i'll have five weeks of holidays to find some anywhere..!!
Nimbin is not a good place for it anymore, it seems, but maybe if i meet the good guys there.. i ll definitely go there just to have a look...
