Started a couple of bag seeds that appeared to be duds. Didn't sink in the water, didn't crack in paper towels etc... So I nicked them with a paring knife and put them back in the paper towels and they both shot out a tail. I put both in some soil and they came up.
The little runt, it turns out, I cut part of the cotyledon off when I nicked it so it's grown lopsided and slow. The other one put out HUGE first leaves and the second set just showed tiny points this morning.
Seams like it's going to be very leafy and very indica. Most seeds I've sprouted have had very normal and equal leaf growth.
I'm just surprised the first leaved got so big before any indication of putting out the second set.
