Sensi Star vs. Nebula

I am interested in these two strains as I want to acquire an indica dominant strain or at least one that flowers a bit faster than super silver haze. Since both have won at least some sort of award, I'd love it if people shared with my their flowering times. I'd also like to know which one yields higher just in general. Any info is of course appreciated.

Ive never grown Nebula skylined, but ive probably grown 20 pks or more of SS. There are a couple of common phenos with SS, one that branches and one that tends to grow into a prominant headbud. I grow it outdoor. SS flowered for 65 days is finished. The branchier pheno finishes at 60. Cured for 90 days or so, you cant let it go much longer than 60-65. Too many amber trichs and SS will slap your ass to the floor and you wont get up. she is potent with a devastating buzz, but dont overripen her or you'll pay..

Ps. Good yields, moderate. 20" plant topped will give 2.5-3 oz.

Sensi Star is the bomb...one of the frostiest plants i've ever seen...i would definitly reccommend the sensi star...don't know about the nebula, but it's also from paradise seeds, so i'm sure it's also good.

We used to get a ton of Sensi Star in the old days and to be honest.... if I could get it, that's all I would grow. Well, Super Silver Haze too. Then I'd cross em. lol


It's the best shit I ever tasted and I've tasted some of the finest from the med scene.

You can't go wrong with Paradise. Never grown Nebula but did a Sensi Star grow a couple years back. Super frosty indica that grows short and squat with almost no stretch in flower. As silverback said, SS is a legend in terms of potency but the yield leaves a bit to be desired.

I would go with Sensi-Star.....top three indica for sure.

1. Endless Sky-Dr. GreenThumb
2. Sensi Star-Paridise Seeds
3. Black Domina-Sensi Seeds

both are typical 8 - 9 weeks flower. Sensi star is more potent, but nebula is very high yielding. Sensi star has a danker, musky, metallic, lemony and sometimes minty. Nebula is sugar/honey smelling and the exhale tastes like it smells. But neb is not an indica. Sensi star seems just a bit more sensitive to nutrients, as in shes got a bigger appetite, especially phosphorous in my experience. Resin production is superior with nebula but you can smell sensi star in someones pocket 20 feet away hah.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I was originally considering white russian but then I looked at the price...totally not cool haha. Nebula is a bit more affordable and if it's the higher yielding strain I'm probably going to consider that (unless in some impossible way I get ahold of seeds of Sensi Star x Northern Lights).

In general nebula will yeild more and take a bit longer... the nebula I grew was PERFECT at 9.5 wks... nice sativa buds glistening with resin..
Sensi star is more indica and is done quicker yeilds less... gives a knock out buzz... stronger than nebula... though nebula... especially when you are not used to it... can be mildly hallucinagenic... but that goes quickly once you start puffing it...

If you browse my gallery you'll prby find both Nebula and Sensi star but you would need to look further back in it...

My opinion... the Nebula was a great strain that I ran exclusively for about 1-1/2... the first 5 seeds I grew I found two awesome mommies that were nearly identical..
The sensi star was different... the 6 or so seeds I grew of it.. didn't really yeild the IDEAL momma and they were quite different from each other... good smoke though.. but there are many better...

This is a little off topic, but I tried some nebustar, and it was FANTASTIC! Not sure if its sensi star or hemp star in in though. Anyone have an idea? Sorry for jacking your thread skylined.

I'm a big Paradise fan. I've grown Nebula & Sensi Star and I can tell you that my SS blew the nebula away. Granted I was one of the lucky one to get the "true" Ogre pheno (many people think that they have the Ogre but they don't). Best overall plant I've ever grown and I've grown many MANY quality strains in my days.
You cannot go wrong with the Star!

never had sensi star, but i had some neb a few weeks back and it was super resiny. I didnt really like the taste though.. not enough skunk to it mostly like a sweet smell

I have smoked both many of times and if i was to choose between the two of them i would get the ss anyday over the neb. Just my preference though.

what is the ogre pheno and how do u tell...?

i have 5 nebs veggin now. sensi star soon so in a few months i can give my comparison.
