Mold and drying?

After a bunch of rain I cut down my outdoor plant. I saw some bud rot but I cut it away. Now that they are drying near dehumidifier I see a little more. Will it keep spreading or is it good?

keep an eye on it. as long as you cut away ALL of the mold you should be good.

NO I see a little on the drying buds now.

try placing a fan up front of the plants for a couple of days till they've got off the excess of water. also try cutting all the molded bud 'cause mold spreads like hell if there's good condition for it to do so.

You have half the battle won you have harvested the buds

While drying it can spread but airflow is going to be your friend. Also if they are lying down on something you will need to rotate, as the air cannot get to the underside. I made that mistake this year too. My buds were on a tarp outdoors in 80 deg weather but still had some mold occur on the underside because I did not rotate.

I put whatever single buds I had to dry onto a screen on top of a box, that way the buds would get dried all around, albeit have a flat spot.

Yeah, i do what huey does, but if u use a fan dont put it directly on the buds.

Screen great idea but i like to take advantage of the good weather when its here. I wounder if a screen vs a trap outdoors would help any with air flow?? Not sure as both are on the ground might be worth a try. Hanging them always better but when you have tight buds you want to get them broken down quick because of the mold so sometimes hanging not the answer.

If I had to pick my weak spot it is finding a good SAFE place to dry. Its always a big question when you bring down 10 plants at 1/2 lb each or better. What in the hell am I going to do with all this wounderful stinky bud. House and garage out of the question.
